Are any of you like me? I am lucky enough to stay home right now. Hubby works 5 days a week. I sit here on YT for most of the morning & afternoon taking a few breaks for the babies. Then when I see it is close enough for Hubby to be getting home, within an hour. I rush around making bed, sweeping picking up so it looks like I've been busy cleaning all day. LOL. It doesn't matter to him what I do with my day, I just sometimes feel guilty that he works hard so I have to show him I've been busy also. He always compliments me on our home. He believes that taking care of the house & bills is a job in itself. So right now I'm able to do so. I sold my business several years ago & have been semi retired. Well, gots to go, cleaning time. LOL |
Were are so alike, im just the same. Im addicted, my housework has gone to the wall. lol |
hahaha I wish! :p Both hubby and I work full-time. Althought in truth, I really enjoy working but it would be great to have more time to spend with my babies. Hubby has asked me to go part-time or stay at home but I enjoy working too much to quit just yet. I also feel like I'm too young to stay at home right now. Maybe in a few years. :) |
When hubby gets out of school he said I could stay home, but I feel I'm too young. Maybe I'll stay home when I have kids. I actually like working right now. |

Let's start a "Happily Kept Woman" club. I stopped working back in 2003 when my son was crashing and burning. He is now a HS grad--year early and just started classes today at Baron Institute in Ct to follow his dreams. Here I am, still not working and in no hurry to change that fact. Of course we are starting to build our mini organic farm/B&B and with all the critters we'll be raising, I guess I'll be working again soon. |
Oh how I look forward to the day that I can be like you:D |
LOL I LOVE that you admit that !! I sort of do the same thing but my days of enjoying the net will probably be short lived - I was a kept woman lol - but the tables have turned and now it looks like I need to go back to the work world...IF I could figure out how to do it from home I'd be really happy - Don't work too hard !! Loved your post :) |
can i marry any one of your husbands please?? |
Gosh, where did I go wrong  I work fulltime, take care of our home and the 'babies' and then I also have to work evenings for my DH business. "If" we have kids, I was 'told' that I can stay home for 6 months (I say 1 year). But then I have to return to work (at least part time) for health insurance, but he said that we could get a 'live-in' to take care of the child, clean and cook  hmmm - maybe that's not so bad ;) |

I want to be a tempory member to the club! Yes, I also rush round at the last minute to make it look like I've been doing things all day and not sat on YT! lol |
I was down sized from my job that I had been at for 33 years, and had to take early retirement 2 years ago at the age of 53. I love being home. But I have been taking care of my parents until my Mom just passed away now I have a full time job taking care of my Dad. But before that I would here the garage door open and know my Husband was home and get up and look like I was busy all day! lol |
