SOOOO CUTE I'm looking at the baby talking to mom right now !! She's so attentive and so proud looking !! ...I guess lots are watching cause it says the network is so busy I'm not getting streaming video....but at least this time I got a picture

How beautiful! Happy Birthday baby Eagle.
They are such magnificent birds! We have just recently
gotten them back along the Hudson River here in NY.
It's so exciting. I saw one weeks ago fly by my window
at work and it gave me chills to see such a beautiful site.
They are nesting by the river now. Hopefully in the next
couple of years they will be flying all over for all to see.

V, there's another cam out there with three babies, super cute!!! I can't find the link:confused: but on the chat to this baby they are showing pictures. I love to watch them grow up. It's way too cool.;) ;) ;)

I would love to see one fly by!!!!
If you pop in to the link from time to time, you can catch the parents feeding the baby. I never laughed so hard as I did last year watching them learn how to fly. It was way cool.:D :D :D :D :D

then on the left of the screen you can see other cams - one is the Catalina Island Bald Eagle and there is TWO babies in this one - I'm watching mom feed them right now

It's super awesome V, I sent the school the link, the kids watched it hatch, they were all amazed. Now the Teacher has plans for it to be on the screen for them to see each day. They have to take notes, and have a report done in June. I think I have the teacher hooked! LOL I told him it's not my fault, a special friend got me hooked last year.;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

LOL !! I saw they had something posted on the site above I just linked that they limit viewing to 10 minutes ....It's so incredible. The moms are so...well...Momlike LOL - considering how big they are and how small the eggs it's just incredible they don't break. Not to mention predators. They're so majestic and thank You for posting this...I would have missed it.

Super cool, Thanks V! I did get to see it hatch yesterday. I was so excited, I was on the phone with the school at the same time. The teacher and I were look, did you see that!!!! LOL A few hours after it hatched yesterday the Dad came by and put the egg shell on top of the baby, it was so funny, he/she popped it right back off:lol tears
I have a feeling this one is going to be growing up fast. There's only one to feed, so it won't go hungry.;) ;) ;)

On Thursday night the wind was so strong, I thought the nest was going to fall:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: You could tell how strong that Mom really is, she hung in there;)
The Male is always on the look out for predators. I remember last year, the Male had to chase another bird away, it wasn't an eagel, but it sure was a big bird!

too cool - you saw that ??? I know one day last year mom was feeding baby something REALLY big that they caught - i couldn't believe I sat and watched it...I think it was a bunny wabbit :( the baby was scarfing it up though...

Poor little bunny!!!! (but hey, they have to eat):D We saw a rat and a fish last year. I had it on my computer all the time, last year there wasn't a time limit.
My computer is in our family room. I think the kids watched more of the eagles than they did the TV (works for me;) )
I guess this year I'll have to log on every 11 min.;) I'm sure in a few weeks they will take the limit off. Everyone is logging on to watch the hatching, they don't know the real fun is the feeding and learning how to fly.:p :p :p

No, last year they had 2, there is one nest this year with 3 :D :D :D

It's a super cool site to watch. I just love feeding time, and when it's time to learn how to fly, it's way too cute.;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
