I'm finding I'm buying things to get that quick fix. to find I really dina want it. or need it. I'm focussed about finding a dog just to love a week ago I bought one very foolishly online. it has no shots/womring or vet care and will cost me $250. for it to be brought too me four hours away. when I really want a yorkie or a beagle. I found myself arguing with the AC about the puppy they took from me. saying may be it can be trained not to bite. when people terriffed it. finding myself trying to get my husband's dog to play with me. when it rather be with my husband. {I'm going to keep trying.} I'm going thru chemo. and I'm scared to death of death. and I see myself as ugly. and I'm lonely. I miss J. J would sit listen to me complain and dina care I was throwing up. dina care if anything but he loved me and I was his everything I hope cause he ws mine. taking a break from here. I'm finding myself hating me for crying about people having babies or getting a new bab puppy. I'm still trying to get the beagle here. just going to try to get better. tyty |
Oh TyTy, It sounds like you are going through an extremly rough time. The chemo alone is enough for you to deal with without fretting about the other things. I'm sorry you are having to face such a hard battle with cancer. What type do you have? What is the prognosis? Are you sure you want to take on more responsibility right now? Sweetie, you know your friends here on YorkieTalk are working on helping you get that sweet little beagle to you and it will happen. Just hold on. In the meantime, if you haven't talked to your doctor about your depression you need to now. You need antidepressants to help you over this hump and take the edge off the emotional pain. If you need to talk I'll be happy to listen. I care. Hugs Lou |
I'm really sorry that you are having a hard time with the chemo and all that goes with the illness. I remember what a tough time chemo is and I agree with Lou that you MUST speak with your oncologist about the depression. He/she will surely get you some help. And don't distance yourself from the support of people you know and care about you - both at home and here on YT. Sounds like you have taken quite a bit onto your plate at a difficult time - so life is a real challenge for you right now. Slow down and take a look at all you are trying to manage and see what you can release or ask for someone to help you with. I'll send up a prayer for your metal and emotional well-being now. Our minds are as important as our bodies and sometimes we forget to take care of them as well. Don't give up. Rely on those around you and try really hard to focus on the best things in your life right now. |
Tyty, I am so sorry that you are going thru these health problems. You know we are all family here on YT and we are here for you any time you need us. I hope you will discuss your depression with your doctors so you will have the help that you really need. Good luck with getting the furkid that suits you. I know there is nothing like some furkid kisses to get you feeling better! |
Please get to a doctor. They can help you deal with all you are going thru. I hope you can stay on here and get the support we can give you. You are in my prayers. |
I am so sorry you are going through such a hard time. I have been in treatment for severe clinical depression for 9 years now. All I can tell you is, I have had those days. The days where you cry and cry and can't think about getting out of bed. Therapy and medication have made all the difference in the world for me. I still have bad days, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I know I can get myself out. It will get better for you too. It takes a little work, but in the end it is so worth it. Please talk to someone. I promise, if you start on the path to feel better you will. There is hope. |
I know the stress from going thru chemo can make everything overwhelming and seemingly hopeless. I want you to buy the book Embraced by the Light by Betty Eady. I have given this book to several people who were going thru the same things your going thru, for those who are not going to live long or have a husband, son or other family member that is terminal and they were totally amazed at how wonderful they felt after reading it and also not afraid of death. Next, you should be taking a couple of Stress Tabs with Iron each day along with lots of Vitamin C. Please don't get a little dog just yet. Wait till you are feeling better and thinking more clearly. Most of your problems about trying to fill a void by shopping is I'm sure comming from depression over not having the love and attention you should have growing up, and now a husband who truly doesn't understand, and you should never expect him to. You take care of you for now. Just keep in mind that buying things will not fill that void, only you yourself can, and that's by looking inward and healing yourself. Meditate and go back and get that little girl and take care of her. |
Please try medication !! I hate to see anyone suffering like this and there is help for you - and please - don't leave !! You have support right on this site and if you feel down talking can help you thru it....Hang in there and sending hugs ...I'm sorry you're feeling so bad :( |
I am sorry you are going through such hard times. Please don't leave us. Stay because we care and there are lots of people here who can possiblely help you. Please talk to your doctor. There has to be medication that can help you get through this period of depression. |
TyTy, I am so sorry to hear all that you are having to go through. Please remember our prayers are with you! You have been given some good advice here, so I won't repeat it, but please know that we are here for you. |
I'm sorry you are feeling so depressed right now. I have been there. I know it sucks. There is medication out there to help you get through this tough time in your life. I'm on Lexapro right now, I now have no more anxiety attacks and I can go to sleep at night and not worry that I won't wake up the next morning. I was staying up to all hours of the night cause I was so afraid to go to sleep. Like you, I also worry about death, I'm so scared that I will die and leave my kids with no mommy. You have to remember that god has a plan for all of us. we may not understand why death happens, and we may not like his decisions, but we will all understand one day. If you enjoy reading, I highly reccomend a book by James Van praagh, called "Talking to Heaven" This book has really helped me understand somethings. Some people may not believe all the paranormal, but I honesly do. here is his website. https://store.vanpraagh.com/Categories.bok good luck to you. |
I PM'd you. |
