Oh dear... Well, I may not be able to do much in this world, I am simply a stay at home Mommy who has been raising 7 kids but I CAN pray! We have a family "prayer board" where all prayer requests are posted and we all pray daily for these concerns. I will add Ethan Isaiah to our board and you can be assured he will be prayed for. It is so strange to see this thread on YT website..... I have been keeping up with Ethan for a couple of months..... My grandson was diagnosed with cancer last Dec 2005 ...... and has a caringbridge website.... there are several of these children I check on everyday... and Ethan is one of them.... He is so precious...... |

Here is the update today I copied off his web site. March 30th - DAY 52 1st Update - 11:07AM Well.... I have some pretty big news. We just found out that Ethan survived an infection that usually ends in death. Because we caught it so quickly, they credit that to him surviving. We know the truth... the reason he survived is because... PRAYER WORKS! Do you remember that long night where many of you stayed up praying all night? If you don't, then scroll down to March 12th. Because your prayers made a difference. PRAYER WORKS!! With that said, be sure to start praying for Monday's 10:00am spinal tap. That is going to be a big day. Anything that you can do to spread the word would be greatly appreciated. We need to re-recruit old prayer warriors. Thank you! It deserves to be said again, PRAYER WORKS!!! |

I just wanted to let the poster (Genie I think?) know that my daughter and I have been praying for Ethan since we first saw this message-now we are taking half hour shifts every day to pray for him and his family. I know there are a lot of prayer requests out there-I pray for each and every one I get or hear of, no matter what (or whom), however I guess this being such a young baby with such a serious disease (leukemia for those who don't know) I feel maybe even more compassion than usual... If anyone has a heart for these little ones and could add this baby to their prayer lists I know the family would appreciate it. Bless you all and please, if anyone has a prayer request feel free to PM me with it-even If I don't have a chance to write back I promise to add it to our family prayer board and we WILL pray for you! |
