Outlets (Coach, Gucci, Etc.)
 
As I've posted a few times already, I'm a big designer bag LOVER and shopper. :p I go to outlets a lot (like for Coach and Gucci, etc.). Does anyone know if there's an outlet website that you can shop ON-LINE? There are a few different outlets that I frequent but all of them are a good 2 hour drive from where I live -- so I can't go to them often. I'd love to be able to shop on-line sometimes and save myself the trip ... although not all the time because it's so much fun to browse a store and see the bags in person!!! :D :D I swear when I'm bag shopping I'm just like a kid with candy!! LOL :p

Everytime I buy a new bag it's such an amazing experience ... it's like I have a bag-gasm hehehe :p There's nothing like the scent of fresh leather or the pebbly feel or a croc-bag. :p hehehehe

So if you know of any outlet or discount ON-LINE stores (but the bags MUST be authentic ... I won't buy fakes!!!), then please post the link!! :D Thanks!! :p

PS - You know the expression, "Shoe love is true love" -- well I think it should apply to bags (and accessories like wristlets and wallets)! :D

Quick question ... does La Perle sell AUTHENTIC bags? For example, I'm looking at the Louis Vuitton Manhattan GM and on LV's website it's $1,800 but on this website it's $600 (and it says its new and authentic)? If it is real, then I guess my questions is HOW can they price these bags so low? :confused:

Look at their "about us" page....it says they are actually contracted with the brands they sell. Also they are an "autorized retailer" and guarantees authenticity...so if you are leery I'm sure you could contact the brand - say LV and ask to be more sure?

Did you ever buy from them? If you did, what did you think of your purchase? Was it good quality and do you believe it's real? I think I may call LV just to be sure but girl I tell ya, if it IS real, watch out baby cause here I come!! :D LOL! haha :p

PS - I like that if you aren't 100% satisfied, you can return the item for a full refund within 14 days. Most places that sell fakes do not allow you to return the items for money -- maybe a store credit or exchange for another item but never a full refund.

I have NOT bought from them YET! Just recently found them and thought they looked legit, but I have not yet called any of the designers yet. I also liked the guarantee deal :D Will you let me know if you call? I know I am going to place an order...lol!

They're Fakes!
 
I googled La Perle and found out they sell fakes!

They were originally www.laperle.com but got sued for selling fakes; so they changed their website to www.shoplaperle.com

I'm so bummed! :( Oh well, I'll just have to pay full price for my LV's but they're worth it. :p

Depending on the outlet... Some outlets have deep discounts! Some are not so great... Coach outlets are a perfect example of both... the bulk of their stock is marked down enough to be a great deal! But hit the clearance bins and its a MAJOR discount!! Sometimes more than HALF of the retail price! I have bought at 75% off of retail many times. You just half to keep your eye out and visit the outlet often! ;)

But at other outlets the discounts are more substantial from the start! I just paid $550 for a $1600 Bottega Veneta Messenger bag... I am in LOVE! with this bag! Its my Anniversary present to myself! I get to pick something out every year! And every year I treat myself to a new Bottega! I just won't carry any other bag! Thank Heavens we have an outlet near by! hubby would die of a heart attack if I ever paid retail for one! LOL

If your shopping a site like that... just make sure they have a return policy... better yet.. try hitting an outlet mall in person, its always your best bet! then your 100% for sure your getting the real deal!
