Afraid of heights..try this..
 
Any takers on the new glass bottom walkway in Hualapai, Arizona ... This walkway hangs out OFF the cliff in mid air over the Grand Canyon so when you look down it appears you could fall through .:eek:.. It's definitely not for a person who is afraid of heights...better take along a clean pair of undies if you go :rolleyes:

I'm going to the Grand Canyon in about a month. I had not planned on going on the walkway anyhow, but now that I know it has a glass bottom you couldn't pay me enough to go on it.

Although, it does sound kinda cool ... nope can't do it :eek:

There is no wayy I could walk on that. I would get sick. I get the heeby geebys from walking on those glass floors they have at aquariums where sharks are swimming below you.

In science class last year I read an article about that! I knew right away I wanted to do it. I think it would be the coolest thing EVER.

Oh I think you'd know I did it long before I got back to post about it. I'm sure it would be all over the news if I were to throw up all over the pretty new walkway! :tongue001

Oh My Gosh, never, never, never. :eek: :eek: I am afraid of heights. I thought I read somewhere where their charging a big price just to go out on it. :money:

The site says it's $25 to go out on the walkway but there's also a museum,restaurants, gift shop & more there...

It also says the $25 is "in addition to the cost of a Grand Canyon West entrance package." I wonder how much that is? This could become a very expensive vacation :(

I feel like I remember hearing somewhere that it was $50.00 to 75.00.

They would have to pay ME to get me out on that thing! Ain't no freakin' way!!!! It's all I can do during deer season to climb up 15-20 to the deer stand - can't even begin to imagine this - and don't want to! To those of you brave enough and courageous enough - good for you - I'm joining the other scaredy cats and keeping my feet on "can't see below" solid ground (or rock).

I did some more checking & came across this site that has prices & packages if you want to go down in the canyon in a helicopter... have meals there... or just do the skywalk..I'm having a problem making sense of it.. but from what I can tell it's around $75 to get to go on the skywalk & your not allowed a camera.
