Oh, I got this in my e-mail several weeks ago but forgot to post it here  Thanks for giving everyone a heads up girl! |
Wow!!!    I would have never thought. Thanks for passing this on!! |
I used to buy the boxes and I know they stayed in the cabinet way too long. We must have been lucky. Now, I just buy the pancake mix in the shakable plastic bottle. I love doing it that way. No muss, no fuss. Now they make a large one too and I can just put it in the fridge and make a couple each morning for my son. |
Your not going to believe this!! I had read this article a while ago so, that is how I knew.......I was going to make pancakes for hubby and me for breakfast this morning...and BECAUSE I had received this article I checked the exp. dates!!! (this goes to show you how often we eat pancakes!) One of the boxes (opened but the bag had a tie on it) expired May 06!!! and the 2 others were Nov 06!! I can't even believe I still had them! well, needless to say we didn't have pancakes for breakfast but, the trash did! |
yikes!! |
thanks for letting us know...every little helps. |
