it's a joke right?????? |
The add is kinda funny...but its a very sad story if it's true! Ya think?? |
I hope you've alerted the authorities to go there and wait for the person who is going to do this if it's not a joke. They should be arrested for animal abuse/neglect. |
I think someone should be contacted in case this isn't a joke. Perhaps the Humane Society. |
Someone is trying to be funny but certainly not my idea of a joke. Very bad taste. |

OMG, that is so sad. I hope somebody will be waiting there to check it out, although I don't understand why they just don't take him to the local animal shelter. It would be so much safer for everyone! I hope this is a bad joke, although nothing would surprise me anymore:( |
I agree, you should call the authorities in case it's real. How horrible that they would call it a 'curb alert' like a couch. |
I emailed ASPCA and left a voicemail at ASPCA. We will see how it goes! |
Wow I cant believe this Awhile back an old man left his dog out side of the dog pound here and left a note that said he could not feed or take care of him any more. Well they tried for weeks to catch the dog and he would run in the woods and out in the road, But always returned to the spot that the old man left him. after a week he was hit by a car and found laying dead right there in that spot. The shelter put a note in the newspaper telling the man he was dead. It was so sad. |

OMG! That made me tear right up! SOOOOO sad! |
This is ridiculous. |
I honestly hope this is a joke. It's not funny at all :thumbdown |
I mean she/he could have at least brought the dog to rescue or shelter... |
Any updates from the ASPCA, yet? |
Nope.. they didn't call me or email me.. |
i doubt its a joke but i hope someone did something. poor animals ! |
OMG how awful!! That address is not too far from where I live. I wish I saw this thread yesterday because I would have gone there to see if it's true and taken that poor baby. I couldn't possibly keep him but I would have brought him to a no-kill animal shelter. |
ASPCA emailed me... I am sure it is just a protocol email. Dear Sir/Madam: Thank you for your email. We at The ASPCA share your sense of concern about all instances of animal cruelty, and we sincerely appreciate you informing this office in this particular matter. We have taken this complaint very seriously and will have an agent visit the address you have provided as soon as possible. We truly appreciate your concern and efforts on behalf of the welfare of animals. Sincerely, The ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement |
I sure hope this was a bad joke...I cant understand if anyone really did do this, why they would?? Shelters are everywhere!! I hope we can find out more about this story!! Dawn |
