CARS?????

Not exactly, however, Quincy does ride in my Mini Van -- I don't have pic of him riding in the van but here are a couple of dirving pics and a pic os Quincy at one of our volunteer activities. I was training this little girl to drive. Her parents had secretly bought one of my miniatures, a two wheel cart and harness for her birthday.

Holy cow! With all those jobs, I can see how you'd forget a few. You must have one HUGE business card. lol

You ought to add "motivational speaker" for lazy teens afraid to get a job!

RoxyJosMom 03-18-2007 05:41 PM

Good idea. Alot of those jobs were at the same time. There's 40+ years of work there. Oh, and I should throw in construction worker, too. I helped my husband in his construction business. No wonder I'm so pooped!

All thru HS I worked at a local grocery store where I learned how to cut steaks.

Then I babysat my niece for almost a year.

Then to Wal~Mart in the Jewerly department while going to school and stayed there for 9 yrs.

Jan Bell Jewelry (Sams) for a bit - had a wreck that took me out of work

United HealthCare for a bit and health issues took me out of work due to the wreck

Then to CIGNA where I have been for the past 9 - almost 10 yrs. I work in the dental department. Right now I deal with our Providers that are contracted, any appeals, any complaints, ortho claims, regular claims... pretty much whatever there is to do, I do it. And I love it!

Mike, that is the most complimentary thing anyone has said to me in a very long time. Believe me, I feel entirely selfish -- no matter how much I share my little horses with the community, I always get more out of the event than anyone else. My life's dream is to spend my days sharing my critters with those who have special needs. Last year, Boo the Boxer was used as part of a reward system for a special little boy at the school where I work. When he had earned enough points, Boo came to school to spend the afternoon with him. Just seeing that little guy smile when he got to walk Boo up and down the school halls, was worth more than a week's pay..

went back to the 3 lawyers/cpa I had worked for prior, again doing the same ole. 5 yrs
then went to a construction company. payroll clerk/ off mgr , approx 200 employees.7 yrs
retired 4 yrs ago when company sold out to someone else. 100 miles a day drive to work and back gets old real fast.

Bama Yorkie Mom 03-20-2007 08:01 PM

forgot some.lol
customer service mgr at dept store part time for a while between tax seasons. I know there is more but right now I can't remember what. I was also one of the first girl softball coachs in our community. man did that expand into a big community outfit as it grew over time, having a big new complex built and I dont know how many different girl teams they have now. since that, they've won some state championships. makes me proud I was a part of the beginning of it all. that was volunteer but it was the most enjoyable things I was ever involved in. I loved those kids and watching them grow up into ladies and moms and all. helping kids stay involved in a community is a great feeling when you see them grow up to become moms and coaches themselves and keep it going.
