Girl your young I bet it's stress, you are toooooo young to stress just try to relax, go get a pedicure or a massage, what the heck get both. Make a day just for you. How long ago was it when you FIRST got your period? |
A really good massage will do the trick...Go to a nice spa... It really really help so much...Well 4 me it does :p |
First I have to ask if there is a reason why you think you could be pregnant? Since I probably already know the answer wait a week then if you have not started take another test. They can be wrong I have had one like that. If you want more detail PM me and we can chat. Krystal |

been there... i stressed myself out over my period being late.. that i was even later... took the test... came out negative.. next day... got my period... give it a bit before you panick.. you are young... it takes a while before your body gets into a real rhythm... i'm 23.. and it wasn't until i started on the pill that i got into a real pattern.... might you consider that? |

Alot of people miss a period and sometimes even miss periods for months, so if you are not pregnant then I would just wait until next month and see if you start. Stress can cause you to miss a period. Even being overwieght can cause this ( I don't know if this applies to you). |
This should be a wake up call for you. If it turns out your not pg. then don't put your life in a guys hand again. You really need to tell your mom that you want a check up to see if your ok. Maybe it will put your mind at ease and end all the stress which can lead to major health problems. |

Noone Else ???? |
if you're really eager for an answer, you can ask your dr to do a pelvic exam.. if you're your cervix will be closed, or you can ask for a blood test... |

there are a lot of ways to get on the pill and not have your mom find out you are having sex... birth control pills are WONDERFUL for getting your period on a scheduale... and also for lessening cramps... i had ovarian cysts... went to emerg in severe pain.. and they said that that the pill would help eliminate them.. which they did! so maybe you could try your mother with the cramps and the scheduale... i'm not sure how health care work there.. but here you can get a presciption for the pill by going ot a public health nurse without your parents even finding out. |
yeah idk if we have any places like that but right now im still worrying about why im not starting im so stressed out i just want to tell my mom i went buy two more preg tests today but havnt taken them yet im so scared my other was neg and im praying for the same! Everyone please pray for me! |
i really hope your being safe since getting pregnant isnt the only thing you can get |
oh yes i am being veryy safe thats why i dont understand how i can be! what kind of doctor should i go to just a regular one? |
your school nurse should be able to help you |
If you are used to getting your period around the same day every month, perhaps you may have forgotten that February is a shorter month? Did you count 28-30 days after the end of your last period? Otherwise, drastic changes in your diet or stress can easily cause problems. Just wait a bit, and do another pregnancy test. Also, if you are sexually active, you should be in touch with a doctor you trust, and try to get a PAP test annually just to be on the safe side. ;) Here is some info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pap_smear |
how ironic lol i justt thought of that i dont usually start exactly the same day every month but no i didnt think about february till just now lol! i am still a little late but not as much Thx.. and yes i have been very stressed lately with school and family things so i thought that could def be the reason |
Nutrition might alsoo be the issue. Last summer I was really stressed and not eating a whole lot and working my butt off. I worked out about 3 hours a day and lived on nutrition shakes. I didn't have my period for 4 months! I talked with my Doctor about it and he said I didn't have enough body fat and that was why I wasn't having my period. I started eating more healthy fats like nuts and sure enough my period started back up. About 6 months ago I got on birth control for my skin problems and it has done wonders for me! No more break outs, no more mood swings and reliable periods! If you do decide to get on birth control pills make sure you really research them. The kind I used was actually invented to help skin problems and being a contraceptive was actually just a side effect of it. Others can be dangerous though and cause cancer so be careful! |
Thankx ... bump |
Good news you guys .... Just wanted to thank everyone for all the help and kind words! I guess i get a little too stressed out and that was the reason for me being late... i went get a massage and spent a day with my friends with no stress and that did the trick if you know what i mean! Thanks again!:) |
