Anyone know just how much velocity can be reached by two 5-gallon buckets of good, heavy paint when gently nudged off of the very top rack (almost 20 feet) at Lowe's? :D Let me tell you -- a WHOLE LOT of velocity! Enough to explode the buckets and send paint up over the racks and thru the stocked shelves across the next aisle and halfway up those shelves. Yep, it happened yesterday and since I am in the paint dept (I was on break when it happend - I had nothing to do with it) I got to help clean it up. We are still cleaning and will be for a couple more days. My zone Mgr. calls me Cinderella cause I spend so much time on my hands and knees cleaning up other peoples' paint spills. So, that's what I do at my job;) . |
Oh yuck, that does not sound like fun:( Cinderella - that's pretty funny. |
I don't know about falling off of a shelf... but I saw a couple of those 5 gallon plastic buckets fall off of the back of a truck going about 35 mph down the road!! A couple of years later the pale blue stains are still on the black asphalt!! I'm just glad that I wasn't the first car behind the truck... and I know you're just glad they didn't call Cinderella to clean it up!:p |
This post made me crack up! Not the part of you having to clean it up, just how you phrased the beginning :) That was pretty funny. The not so funny part is that you were stuck cleaning up the mess :( |
