What else can I do to get better? Please help me :( |
You need to go see your doctor - 4 days of fever while you are pregnant is too long! |
According to my multiple pregnant daughters' doctors, You can safely take tylenol when you are pregnant. And drink drink drink and drinks some more. You should be sipping liquids constantly. . |

I think that any liquids are good. A good rule of thumb is to stick to clear liquids. You just want to say hydrated and flush anything out of your body. Water is probably the very best thing, but teas (watch the caffeine) will be good to. Just drink tons to flush out your body. I would talk to your doctor about meds you can take to rid your fever. Rest up! |
How high has your temp been? |

sorry so many posts... Okay, check out this website. It says that tylenol or tepid baths (who knows what this is, a cold bath maybe..ekkk!) can be safely used to control fevers in pregnant women. Look at the very bottom. http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregna...e_3ptt,00.html |
Yep Tylenol, liquids and loooooots of rest sister. :( Feel better...being sick while preggers is the pits. :getwellso tepid = just warm...like not warmer than body temp. :) I'd prefer a cold rag on the neck though. All your blood flows through that point and if you keep the rag cold, it will cool you off quickly. |

I would also add lots of broth, particularly chicken. Any soup (other than cream-types) are good when you are sick. They help keep you hydrated, the warmth helps with congestion and there is actual nourishment as well. Hope you feel better really soon. Being sick and pregnant is not fun at all!! |
