That is a beautiful doll!! I also have a doll collection. It's been a long while since I've added to it and I really don't have room anymore. But, they decorate mostly my living room. My favorite is one called "grumpy" that my aunt gave to me before she passed away. I also have a small collection of unique (and very expensive) kaleidoscopes that she gave to me. And I have a small collection of Limoges boxes. That is the only collection my hubby adds to. I usually get a new one each Christmas. I'm on the lookout for a Yorkie Limoges. Other than those, I'm trying to actually get rid of "stuff" and live more simply. |

I collect the Ivory Bisque Ariana Fairies from PartyLite. My daughters name is Ariana so I thought it would be nice to get them all, and then give them to her as a gift later on. I have them all but the fountain. I have the tea light lamp but one of my cats knocked it over and cracked the shade. :( It's a really hard to find (retired) piece and I was so upset when it happened. I've seen the on eBay but I don't feel like spending that much right now. I also collect the PartyLite Angel figurines. :) |
I collect old postcards, old milk bottles and old salt & pepper shakers. It's really interesting to see what each of us collect. :) |
I, too, collect collector's edition barbie dolls. |

I Collect..... WOW, I am truly amazed that so far I am the only COW freak. I have real ones on my grandmothers ranch in Idaho but havent seen them in years. Going to take my boys up this spring to choose their cows and name them. But I love COWS!!!! the most. Then horses, my quilts, i love reading nora roberts, james patterson, janet evanovich. I also have a fondness for bowling too. Did I mention I LOVE COWS!!!!! lol.. I also have 2 cow tattoo's on my right ankle representing myself and my oldest son, when I am back in salinas at the end of the month I will add a smaller calf to my ankle to represent my newest little guy. I dont have all the cows I used to. I had tons of Mary Moo Moo's, stuffed animals, purses, pillows, blankets, shoe buddies (little cows that went ontop of your sneakers) dishes, stone wear, glasses, appliances, containers. U name it I had it. But once I started moving a lot when I first married I dwindled my stuff because we where moving a lot between az and cali because we were in produce and had to travel. Then when I moved when I left my hubby I noticed I didnt have as much as I used to but then I also didnt have the storage that I once had. I had 2 china cabinets 2 corner churrio cabinets, top of the kitchen cabinet space, counter space and island space. Ya lost all that space an no room for my cows and since I know if i was to have anymore kids i would end up with boys so all my bedroom cow decor i had i sold it. |

My husband says that I collect anything that costs money! But if I look around... I would say that I collect books, clutter, really nice dog carriers:rolleyes: (I guess I have too many of those...) and dust! Oh, and shoes, purses, dog toys, post it's and childrens shoes! ;) But if I could collect something it would be stamps in a passport book! I don't have a passport:( But someday I'll get one and I'll start collecting STAMPS!:D |
