Super Inclusive Vacations? Has anyone been to a super inclusive resort? Our plans for a cruise aren't working out for the Fall so we're investigating some super inclusive resorts. Originally, we were looking at the Breezes Resort in Montigo Bay, Jamaica but my travel agent said one of her clients had a bad experience there. I think we're looking at a resort in the Dominican Republic now. Does anyone have any personal experience with an all-inclusive or super inclusive resort? I'd like something in Eastern or Southern Caribbean. Thanks!! |
I just came back from a holiday at the Holiday Inn Sunspree in Montego Bay. I thought it was a great resort... wonderful if you are traveling with kids under 12. It has 2 pools, (1 for adults) 4 restaurants, about 6 bars, a disco. The food was good and varied and you're right on the ocean. The are non motorized water sports, tennis courts, a really well equiped exercise room, basketball court. There were programs for children of all ages and nicly equiped play areas. The staff is freindly and professional. The rooms were quite large and clean. Overall taking price into consideration, I think this is a really good bang for the buck. Good luck searching. I've been to the Sandals resorts (Royal Carribean, Montego Bay Jamaica and in St. Lucia). Sandals are couples only and considered ultra all-inclusive. I would highly recommend them if you aren't traveling with children. I also know someone who had a not good experience at Breezes Jamaica, but in her opinion the guests of color were not treated well compared with caucasian guests. |
