I have the same one but with 8 megapixels... I love it! Its the best camera I have ever had.. Yours will be even better with 10 mp! I bet you will enjoy it! Let me know, I might have to upgrade!

The SD900 is still quite a new camera, there are many YTers with Canon Elphs though and I have yet to hear a complaint. ;)

Enjoy the camera! Do you plan on printing photos at home or at a lab? Costco does cheap prints, as far as home, Canon makes some great home printers too, I have a Pixma series one.

i love my canon (not the same model as yours exactly) i have the SD500..

is this a SLR or a point-and-shoot? im guessing it's a point and shoot? :D

I have a HP printer that does well, but when I do larger than 8 x 10, I have them printed. I don't have a Costco in my area though :(

Its suposed to be here today ! Can't wait! Oh and you guys know who will be my test subjects!!! YUP, all my babies...so be prepared to see me posted lots of pics!

Wow -- that is one nice camera and would be my choice if I was getting one. I actually cut a picture out and put it on the fridge one Christmas of just the Canon Powershot I wanted. DH thought if that was good, the DSLR would be even better -- so he bought me the Canon Rebel XT -- but I think it is too complicated for me. I need to take a class just to figure out how to use it. I am a point and shoot person! But I don't want to seem ungrateful -- so I suffer through worse pictures than I was getting with my old camera.
:( But occasionally it takes really good shots despite the operator. :)

I have a Minolta Dimage, with a 10x zoom. Love it...but its big due to the zoom and I don't use the zoom all that much. So since its bigger I haven't been taking it everywhere with me. So I wanted a small one. I'm hoping to be able to take this everywhere I go !

But still have my other nice one when I want to use the powerful zoom.

I was holding the hose with one hand taking pictures with the other :D

I LOVE it - but can't operate half the functions it has

I just found Costco on line and they have a photo center. I'll check them out ! :thumbup:

Cannons in general are great cameras. I personally like Cannons, Nikons, and Sony's

I ordered it from amazon.com. I paid alittle extra for shipping but I ordered it Wednesday night...late and I already have it!

I have it here at my desk and I'm charging the battery as we speak so I can use it ASAP !!!

I know ! Too funny! We could trade back and forth !!!! I'm still trying to find the best deal on that Dyson !!!! I may just have to bite the bullet and fork out that 500 bucks for a vaccuum but boy I just don't want to!!!!

What I like best about your elph is it has a viewfinder in addition to the LCD screen. I just bought a Nikon coolpixS10 because I liked the 10x optical zoom, but it doesn't have a viewfinder. When the sun is out, it's almost worthless because I can't see the screen.

My only criticism of the elph was going to be the 3x optical zoom, but it sounds like you've considered that and have a backup with 10x. You're going to love it. Can't wait to see Yorkie pictures with it!

I have this Canon 900!!! I love it! We bought it the day they were unloading them at Best Buy and putting htem on the display!!! I knew it had to be good! I love it! I love the videos it takes too!!!! I has soo many settings, I am still learning about them! LOL!!!!! I give it a 10 so far!!!!! Its pictures are sooooooooo clear! I love it!:thumbup:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it :thumbup: One of my best purchases! I still haven't read the manual so I'm sure it does way more things that I have no clue it does yet. But I love it !!!!!!!
