Paypal is a scam. I ordered a stroller for my babies, and after waiting two weeks I finally called paypal. They said it did go to another address, and they can't help me get the money back, because it's private address and phone number, I just wanted my money back. I didn't care who the lady is or what her bank account number. We'll after 4 weeks of trying to fix this I'm ready to pull my hair out, so now I'm still ouy 74.28 and no stroller to boot. |
If it went to the wrong address your ebay seller should be trying to get it back for you. i have had that happen before too. |
That SUCKS !! That's not your fault and they should cover you - they sure make enough money on the fees etc. KEEP AFTER THEM !! |
Also you need to report to ebay that your seller sent it to the wrong address and you havent got the item. Maybe that will get the seller in gear to get it back. She knows what address it was sent out to since she mailed it |
I also would get back to the seller, it would seem to me that they should be able to help you get either your money or item back. |
Call your credit card company and tell them to do a chargeback. Tell them about how you did not receive the merchandise, and that you are having trouble with paypal. |
I posted a reply on your original post I mentioned what my hubby said to do......he is a powerseller....and has issues frequently with Paypal and Ebay....feel free to email him at sales101@aol.com...he will help you try and figure it out......he does get the sellers phone number and calls too sometimes.....also he because he is a power seller has benefits that normal sellers don't, like ability to call a different number for issues and gets a live person......instead of emailing them.... It is worth a try...... Shirley |
I reread your post What address did it go to???? And WHY did it go to that address instead of to your address??? Who made the mistake???? If it was you...then I think you do not have recourse....if it was the shipper, or your seller put the wrong address...then you probably do.......gotta find fault....I think ????? Good luck |
That stinks.............I hope you get your money or the stroller back! I had the mailman deliver my package to the wrong address, when he went to get it back..............they refused to give the package back. (It was a very expensive part for my car). I MADE him call the police right there and then. Needless to say, I got my package. Whoever accepted the package and knows they are not the intended receiver can get in a LOT of trouble ya know. :thumbdown |
I really hope you get your money back! I am having bad luck with my last 2 Ebay transactions. Maked me want to give it up if I wasn't so addicted. I just got a pink Razr and I can't talk on the thing more than a few minutes and it just cuts off. I am so bummed! |
Paypal just deals with the money. Check your ebay account to make sure the address is correct. The seller is possibly at fault here. |
Did you buy an insurance ? It should cover the parcel. |
Did the OP even buy it at ebay? I don't see where she states that? :confused: |
Was the address mistake yours or the sellers? As someone else mentioned, if it was your mistake then obviously no one is going to do anything. If not, I would keep trying with all parties (Paypal, eBay, seller). :) |
