Husband got a new job! YAAY!
 

Today is a big day in the life of my DH. He starts his new job this morning. (Right now! As I type this!)

I think that throughout all of life's twists and turns, a professional career-shift like this one for my DH, is definitely one for the books! As of last month, he had been at his entry-level job one year....and on Friday, he received a huge job offer from an 8 BILLION dollar corporation with offices worldwide in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific!

DH will be working in Human Resources, directly under the Senior Recruiter for all of North America. The fact that he even was offered this job is a HUGE compliment to my husband, since this senior recruiter guy looks for the right candidate for corporate jobs, for a living! This is exactly the direction my husband wanted to go with his career, and it has all kind of fallen into his lap lately (more/less).

Another huge change from his previous job is.....he now has to wear suits and ties every single day! So, umm, we did some major shopping this weekend! He looked spiffy this morning in his new black Ralph Lauren suit (like a secret service agent, haha!). Ooooh yeeeeah. (But I might be a bit partial.)

And 9 days from today will be our 3rd wedding anniversary. Time flies, huh?

congratulations, my husband mentionee to me this morning that he was going on week for without a job and i just replied i know, trust me i do know and my bank account and svings account has begun to know to, but he is still otu there trying for a job.

Thanks, guys. We're VERY excited about his new job. (The odds that he would get this job were SOOOOOOOOO slim. I mean it's totally amazing! And he's been unemployed for 3 weeks so it's a HUGE blessing!) I keep wondering how is day is going?!! I can't wait to hear about his day when he gets home tonight! Not that it will have been all that exciting, but it's weird not knowing.

Centerfold? Hehe. I better not let him see this thread, else he'll get a big head! LOL. He just called to give an update on his day, and said it's going awesome so far!!!

We love that wedding picture too, though we had several just hands-down amazing shots. I am a wedding and portrait photographer, full-time, and the senior photographer at my studio took that picture, as well as others.

Congratulations to both of you!!! He is definitely a hunk in his new suit, but he looks equally as good in the water with his board!!!! It is wonderful that someone is taking a chance on him and his abilities.

My hubby will start a new job on 4/1. When he lost his job 18 months ago, it took 4 months to find a new one along with a 60% pay cut (OUCH)!! Although this position won't start with much more $, it is with a group he worked with at another company that he really likes and there are tons of perks being in this management group. Should be as long term a position as he wants it to be (unless the company grows and gets sold) with growth just around the corner!!
