Whatcha doing for your skin sweeties for Valentines?
 

I have fixed my DD's breakfast tray up with a pink rose, a card and a small gift.
I got DH a lottery ticket. Not much romance around here!
I guess I will cook their favorite meal tomorrow night too, spagetti.
Anyone doing anything fun?

My bf and I are going out to a pretty chill restaurant tomorrow. We're really going to celebrate VDay when we go to Hawaii.

I'm debating on what to do for supper but am leaning towards getting some shrimp and crab legs and a nice bottle of wine. Too cold here (no snow this far south though) to have steaks on the grill so whatever we do will be inside!

My Husband and I usually to out to eat but we are snowed in so we wont be going tonight. I think we might go out of town later this weekend to a hotel that has an indoor waterpark in Ohio. I am looking forward to getting away. I got My Daughter some candy and a valentines barbie

We just moved into our new house and the builder put very minimal landscaping. For Valentine's Day we did the landscaping around the pool. Not romantic I know but we live outside so it was the best gift to me. Hubby has to work late tonight though so that's sad.

I got a card and a box of chocolates for my DH. Not sure what I got cause he is sleeping in. No chocolates for me this year. I am really sticking to my Nutrisystem. We will spend the evening watching my son's first baseball game of the season. Couldn't be better!

Well I send my mom a flower arrangement with her favorite chocolates and balloons, bought my older sister & younger one a small stuffed animal and balloons for each and delivered the oldest one hers at work now I need to take the younger one's to the h.s and for hubby I got this BIG box and put ina game he was wanting a candy and a really cute toy of a guy and girl on a bike and it singsd "wild thing"... :D :D Oh and I wrapped it in HOT PINK PAPER and added balloons.... they delivered it to his work... ( HE WORKS WITH A BUNCH OF GUYS.... :p :p :eek: ).. OOPSIE:D
Hubby is taking me to dinner..dunno anything else...

My babies are my valentines so I'll feed them lots and lots of pickles and potatoes :D

Do you have pictures? A couple of hurricanes left our back yard drastically bare. We have 2 Pindo (I think) palms that are medium tall so far, and 1 huge sago palm around the pool but the rest of the yard looks sort of barren. I need ideas. We lost so many trees we lost count. The only ones left standing were so mutilated and bent, we had them removed too. I looked at that bare yard all last year -- this spring we are planting! But we are being very particular about what goes back in -- no pine and no oak! We cut and toted more of that wood to the road than we ever care to see again.

Well we just did the planters around the pool so we still have a ways to go. Our fence is next and then the major landscaping begins. Around the pool we did 2 Christmas Palms, 2 Areca Palms, a traveler palm, some juniper and border grass and some yellow and green crotons. When we get to the yard we'll do an herb garden and a bamboo garden, probably some gingers and arecas since they grow so fast, probably a christmas palm or two and a foxtail palm or two, some bird of paradise and I want a bottle palm. I'll take some pictures when we get a little more going on. I can't wait!

WHen are your babies due, Jessica? What perfect valentines. :)

as for myself and my family we are not doing anything i know of.
once again my husbands family finds it neccessary to ruin our valentines or some occasion. they know its valentines and that we are married but his mother and his sister call and ask him if he can take them to go pick up his sisters trailblazer because she just put rims and etc on it. she needs my husband for his manly opinion :mad:
whatever she and his mom are the type to be like the dominat ones, or you know like the onyl ones he can love, i dont know how to say it they do whatever they can to make sure that on a holiday that hes with them, and then my husband also cant just say no, when he does it turns into this huge catfight between all of us, his mom says i need to quit being so rude, his sister says im the boss and that i need to quit trying to rule him etc its just stupid, so i dont care anymore. i just cant beleive that they would call and even ask him to, i would be like well you know it is valentines ill just wait or have one of my single gfs take me. but no she has to ask brother and when i ask her why she says becuase she needs his opinion,
somewhat understandable but his opinion wouldnt matter any way because she a B***H and she doesnt care what other people think, i mean is my hubby liked it and she didnt she would take it back and have it doen to where she did so why would it even matter.
but its just her and snother way to pull him from me, so basically i expressed me feelings towards it and he still is going so i will wait till they leave and then take my kids out to dinner or something that he will miss out on, sad mean maybe but hey if you want a family wife kids then you need to want them and put them first, so we will see

the sad thing is thought they ask him when the mom is going for one, the mom has a truck the sister that lives with them has a truck, the brother has a truck, her other brother has a truck, her ex hubby has a truck, i mean she has a million trillion people who could take her but she cant she has to have my husband. uhhh she could drop off the planet and i dont think i would care right now, im tired of her. she acts liek shes married to my husband

I woke up early and brought my hubby breakfast. he goes to work a 4am and nothing opens till 7am.. So I brought him something before he had a chanse to get on of his coworkers to get it for him. THEN I brought him lunch.

I forgot the brownies I made for his work.. So I Went back and got those and then stopped off and got him milk and candy... I didnt even get a chance to go back home.. His boss told me to just sit down behind there desk (where no one but the desk sgt are allowed) and wait till he gets off... I was REALLY hesitant about it, but he kept telling me to sit down, so I did. I spent like 4 hrs at his work. Then we got food after he got off and came home.

Hubby got me Roses and candy yesterday and then gave me MORE roses and a card today... Along with taking the girl out to go potty with out me asking him. I Could not ask for more :p

sorry guys for my novel and rant up there but i decided this

im going to, i called him and told him to put the car seats in his truck and that we are all going to, and he said why and i said well becuase its valentines day and we refuse to sit at home alone while you are out with her, and he said ok and i said well if you have a problem with that do you and if you do then i will take the kids to chuck e cheese and spend about a hundred dollars now that not bad is it honey yeah i thin kill take them to chuck e cheese for valenties and he said ok but you guys better hurry im leaving at 5, because i thought why let her defeat me, she wants my husband well she can have me to and my kids, :D

I got to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary and V-Day by cleaning up glue from installing our wood floors. My fingers are so sore I can hardly type. That's ok though because we have wanted to do this for a while now. This is one project I don't wish to do EVER again. Happy Valentine's Everyone :)

Since hubby works nights we will do our big celebrating this weekend coming. I hate to go out on VDay because the restuarants are packed, serve limited menus and jack up their prices and the waiting gets on my nerves. So we always try to do the going out the weekend before or right after. I did make a nice dinner and we all ate together and I made cute gift bags for the kids with candy, chocolate and a cute shirt each and other things that they like. I got some new toys for the furbabies as well.

Oo jesus. She sounds like a down right B*&@h. You wonder why she is divorced. That man must be happy as hell to be rid of her. Misery likes company. So she figures she mess up your day and get herself some company so she won't look like such a loser when she goes to the car place on VDay. God she needs a good slap. Just have a good laugh that she is such a loser that she has to do car things on a nice romantic day like today. Hubby needs a kick in the pants too because he is doing the wrong thing.

well we all went and she didnt say anything bad unlike usual. she was just loud and obnoxious as usual. but then we went to go eat after we dropped her off and im in a good mood, but everywhere was packed its ridiculous aorund here, but anyway so we went home and then my husband and all his little truck club buddies (and no i dont like the idea of a truck club of this kind will explain but i let hubby have a littel freedom) and so they decide they all want to meet so i said well since you guys meet at the car wash take your truck and i will take my tahoe through the wash and since you will be there you can help me wash it so he said ok, so i got there before him and i went through this littel drive thru wash that takes about 10 mins and then he was there when we came out, so i parked and all his littel friends were like ohhh and ahhhh and touching and im like hellooooo i just washed it and so they backed up and i had my radio on and this other guys decided he wanted to listen to his cd and so he just goes in my car and puts it on i was like its his and i was like oh no but i stayed quiet cause my hubby has been working with me on my attitude and so i just stepped back and zipped my mouth, so anyway i start wiping it down because its wet and my husband was no help, he just was there talking to his friends and so i kept wiping it down and wiping it down and i said ok im leaving and then my twin boy pooped so he said ok well im going to go to then see you guys later and so i pulled out and then he was behind me so i pulled out to go and got down the street and i looked back and he wasnt anywhere to be found so i figured he took another way home and so i went home and then said i had to run to my moms so i did and he still want there so i called and he said oh im at the store, so i was sarcastically saying yeah yeah you are buying beer, and he blew up saying to quit giving me an attitude and i was like what and he hung up so i was like oh no you didnt but i shut up and went home, and then he was got home and he was lik who are you talking to cause i was pretending i was on the phone and i said oh cingular and he said why what happened and i said oh nothing im canceling your phone if you cant talk to me then you dont need a phone. he was livid so i said ok thats enough im leaving him alone and he went outside and knocked things over so i said uhhh if i dont go out there he will tear everything up, so i did and i picked the stuff up it was one chair so i threw it in the trash and just walked away and he came back in side behind me and he accidently smashed my fingers in the door and i freaked and so i turned around cause i thought he was coming after me but he was opening the door up soo then i got mad and said oh im being nice and you are trying to hit me or what cause you know better, and he was like no and so i was like uhh and he walked out and i called him a loser and that we always see his back and that was it, i mean uhhh i try with him nicely i have changed my whole demeanor with him i dont blow up i dont yell and i dont hit anymore but he just doesnt respond and i dont know what the next step will be but some thing drastic needs to be done i mean if im nice and hes still mean im going to go crazy. he needs help but he wont listen to me. and as long as people like his sister and mom etc encourage it and say ohh lets go to the bar when she knows hes married then he will not change, he calls me his mom cause i try to help him.
