? On Kwik Sew Pattern=help Needed Has anyone used the kwik sew pattern number 3076 http://www.sewthankful.com/KWIKSewPattern3076.html Was wondering since it calls for the stretch knits, if in using regular cotton fabric instead of the stretch knits by going up to the next size would be able to get an okay fit? I really like the View D style for jammies but was wanting to make them in a cotton. Appreciate hearing from others that might know on this. So sad to hear our Hancock Fabric Store is closing, they are the only store that has the knitted ribbing that I like using for the bands on things. I was so happy to see they had this Kwik Sew Pattern. Shadow if you read this I think the view A is what you were looking for in making a vest. Thanks again, Patti and Baby Blessing says me too :happyboun |
I would be concerned since the legs are rather close fitting. A woven fabric wouldn't have the give, and may be too narrow in some places. YOu'd probably be better off using a knit or a fleece. |

I'm in southern CA. :) Eastvale is an unincorporated area in Riverside county. It is the area of new development that is off the 15 fwy at Limonite. We actually have a Corona mailing address, since we are serviced by the Corona PO, but we're really no where near Corona. We are trying to incorporate, and I like to put down Eastvale as my address to kind of help get the word out about its existence. More than you wanted to know, huh :D LOL. Are you in So Cal? Misty |
I think I will have to get the pattern and use A as a t-shirt pattern. I think i would just use the size needed and cut it and just cut it alittle bigger in the areas where it should give. |
