Ah- the college life!! Okay, it's time to pick classes again and I'm STUMPED! I am an english major and SOOOOO close to being done with me major- I have all my G.Es done and my minor worked out. I just need to fill TIME! Anyone have an idea of classes to take? What did YOU love in college? Anyone an english major who found something else to love? thanks for the ideas!!! |
hmmm well I don't know if you would be into this but my bf is taking Sexual Psychology right now and he loves it. He says its very interesting lol |
developmental psychology was fun, and interesting. I'm an English major too, but also love Sign Language.. which you might like too. =) |
My dtr is in college and likes her psch classes |
Well I'm still slowly finishing my degree, but one of my favorite electives was criminal psychology, or pretty much any of the psychology classes, and any computer classes. |
I have had Intro Psych. that have been really interesting. I also love geography classes. I took one last semester on major cities of the world that was really good. |
thanks for the replys everyone! I'm a psch monor so I'm into those classes as well- hah I need ANOTHER minor or major to take up my time! :) I'm thinking about comparative lit. haas anyone taken a class in that major? thanks everyone! You're all so helful for chiming in! |
ohh hi loved criminal physc. but i wasted some of my time on a phys ed class, cause that was one thing i was lacking, i took a swimming in the morning and i took a dance in the afternoon, and i got my 2 hours excercise and my phy ed credits and passed some time. |
I took a class on eating disorders. It was really informative, especially with how many people are affected by eating disorders. As a nursing major, it's not usually required, but I needed something to fill the time. I've always liked my sociology classes. What about a business class? The intro to business classes are usually pretty easy... If you go to a bigger college (I went to Long Beach State last year,) they had some really awesome diversity classes. I took Gerontology for an elective. It was tough, but fun at the same time. We had a lot of older adults come in as guest speakers. Sometimes it just comes down to what fits best with your schedule too. I wanted to take surfing, but I was not about to get up at 6 a.m. twice a week for a class. |
