The Commercial Is Breaking My Heart Have you all seen the commercial for pedigree, talking about animal shelters. It shows the dogs in kennels & the speaker is speaking as if they are the dog, saying...."I know I'm a good dog & I just want to go home"??? It breaks my heart everytime that I see it. |
I know exatly how you feel! I just want to go in there and adopt all of those dogs. It is soo sad:( ! |

YES. It's a GREAT COMMERCIAL ...and I just hope it does get some of those babies out of shelters - it makes me feel very guilty for having these 2 little divas that I hand picked with my heart :( :( but shelter dogs NEED that kind of attention and I only hope it touches everyone in the world who sees it. |
I also saw that commercial and it also breaks my heart, Nice to know that Purina and pedigree give lots of money back for shelters and research.;) |
That commercial makes me sad as well. I donate to the ASPCA and help in animal transports, but always feel guilty that I *could* do more. |
I just saw the commercial you were all talking about. It breaks my heart as well. I just want to go and adopt all the animals they have so they can have a good home. |
I can't wait until I buy a house with a yard so I can adopt some of the dogs I see at the shelter. Living in an apartment is what made me buy my little Yorkie. I couldnt wait to have a puppy anymore, but honestly before having Buddah I would have never gone this way. i would have adopted a pit bull or some other breed at high risk for being put to sleep. |

I hate that commercial!!! Every time I see it on TV, I want to cry.... (O.K. I guess it is a great commercial..) I feel sooo guilty not rescuing dog from SF SPCA and instead buying this expensive pure breed..... Too bad that I don't like their dog food otherwise I'd buy their food for my baby!!! |
That commercial is so sad. Makes me want to go adopt them all. I recently heard that our humane society finds homes for almost every dog they get. I sure hope this is true. I know all of the dogs I have adopted in the past have been great dogs!!! |
i saw it last nite during the Puppy Bowl... I started to cry like a baby and had to hide from my daughter and all. I promised myself that I would send an extra donation and I did it first thing in the morning today. :( |
