Spring? Can it really be? Do we dare hope it's true? Is it really on it's way? The groundhog didn't see it's shadow the other day, which fortells an early spring, and when we drove by the golf course yesterday there was a group of about 15 Robins sitting under a small tree. We all know Robins are the first sign of spring...I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I miss the warm air and sunshine! |
Oh, I hope so!!! I am so tired of the cold and snow:( And little Hoku wants to start strutting her stuff outside - LOL! |
I hope so! I HATE cold weather!! |
Oh I really hope so. I am so sick and this cold weater is getting to me |
I sure hope it's right...I'm sooo ready! The sun is shining and hopefully some of the ice on the lake will start to thaw. We have a front yard full of birds today...cardinals, starlings, finches, doves...they're all here...except the Robins...maybe they're still playing golf ;) |
Count Nebraska out. More snow is on the way for us. This winter has been just brutal. Below zero temps for weeks now. Plus, a wind chill of 17 below the other night. I hate winter and so do my dogs. |
I saw two red-breasted robins a couple of weeks ago here in South Texas and knew even before groundhog day that we'd have an early spring. The only problem with that is, we'll have an early summer and us southerners would appreciate a few more cool days. |
I hope so, I miss the warm weather. It has been sooo cold here lately. Right now it is 5 degrees here but with the wind it makes it 15-20 below zero!! We even had an advisory to stay in the house as much as possible and if you do go out to really dress warm and be careful and not to stay out very long. |
We have seen the robins here too - and just tons of other birds. But then we got all the snow and ice...so who knows. They said this was the first time the ground hog didn't see his shadow in like 15 years! Wow! We will see! |
i cant wait til summer ! |
We are half frozen to death with more snow to come............I really hate to be the party pooper :D |
