I have a sewing question... okay so I got this machine for Christmas and i'm trying to make some PJ's for the fur babies. Everything is going fine its just that sometimes when I sew in a straight line theres loose loops in the thread. It makes a few good tight stitches then these loops  |
You may want to read the book that came with the machine where it discusses upper tension and bobbin tension...it is one of those that is out of whack! Play with the upper some and see if that helps. I know in my book it tells what tension to use on a particular fabric...last resort, take it to the store where you bought it and maybe they can adjust it. Good luck!!! |
Different fabrics will have you changing your needle size and tensions. Are you sewing knit fabric? What needle size are you using? |
i'm sewing this soft flannel like material my needle size is..11/80 |
I was going to suggest what Oscars Mom said. Your tension isn't tight enough. I have mine between 4 and 5. |

yup, your machine prob needs the tensions adjusted. It shouldn't do that on flannel |
Try rethreading the machine both upper thread and bobbin. If something isn't "just right" it can cause your stitches to be off. |
