whitening Anyone ever used crest white strips? i got my braces off today and wanted to make my teeth a little whiter and the dental assistant uses them any ways. After you leave them on for the 30 minutes you take them off and discard them but do you brush your teeth or wipe of the leftover on your teeth??? didnt kno what your supposed to do! Thanks! |
I always rinse my mouth out after using them. Hope this helps and Congrats!!!! I know you look great:) ! |

Hello..... I've used whiteners for years, but it's the tray & gel type. The dentist made plastic tray's for about $50 & I can get a syringe of whitener there also for touch ups. I only use it about 3 times a year.........I bought the strips once & didn't like them. The strip was too short, it only covered the front teeth, so the side teeth weren't whitened. I heard that on some people the strip tends to not get in the cracks of your teeth so you can be left with unevenly whitened teeth. Hope this helps, but remember this is my experience w/ the strips, they could be o.k. for you :) |

I haven't ever used any kind of whitening products - but I would like to know how well they work. |
I usually just rinse with water and then some listerine to get the taste out my mouth. |

The premium crest strip work the best! Cost about 12 bucks more but whitens alot faster and beter. |
i do use them every six months.. they work great... keep them on for a half hour at a time.. you can use a few if your staying home... on the weekends i would use like 3 of them or 4 while watching a moving.. every half hour change the strip.. do not brush... |

I've used them - they do work REALLY well - I notice them starting to work after just three days, and they continue to get whiter and whiter. It's been about a year since I've done it, but my teeth are still quite white.. despite my addiction to PEPSI!!! One thing I do hate about them is they make my teeth really sensitive for the two weeks that I'm using them. I only do 2 strips back to back when I do them. I always rinse my mouth well with water after and brush my teeth (with no toothpaste) to get all of the gel off. |

Also, I noticed that it made my teeth really sensitive, so start out with just one a day, and then go to two per day if it doesn't irritate you. Happy Whitening! |
