Please wish me luck! For the past several months I have been plagued with sinus infection after sinus infection. I have been on 7 different very powerful antibiotics plus steroids -- with each round I get better for a few weeks and then BAM - another infection. I have had sinus xrays and chest xrays and blood work -- all normal. This past week I coughed so hard that I "threw my back out" OUCH!!!! SO.... I am going to give my body a chance to take care of it's self. For my part, I am starting the cleansing diet today! I have stashed all of the meds in my medicine cabinet on the top shelf and I'm going to let my body take care of itself. I know that a lot of people are going to be starting next week, but I just can't wait. :) It is gonna be hard to give up my morning coffee, and I already had one cup this morning, but I am not going to put it off any longer. I hope that I have lots of people join me. |

Sinus infections are awful! I had a bad bought with them last winter,they are miserable. I hope the cleanse brings the results you want. Good luck! :cheer: |

Good Luck, Please let me know if it works... I have terrible sinus infections. I dont even think antibotics help me anymore. Had the surgery and they moved over my septum and drained sinus in 98' worked for a while now the same old thing. i'm addicted to nose spray cause its the only thing that clears me up for a while. lol |
I am soo sorry you have still been fighting sinus infections! That is horrible! Good look w/ your cleanse........did the doctor recommend this or are you just going for it? |

Ug sinus infections suck. I too have thrown my back out before coughing too hard. It's not fun. I'm feeling for ya hun. Good luck with you cleanse. |
Oh Cindy! I am sorry you have been having such a hard time of it! Good luck with the cleanse. Have you tried a good sinus flush? My doctor recommended this one for me due to nasal allergies. It is not a prescription but I did have to have my pharmacy special order it. There are certain stores that carry it but not in my area. It is called NeilMed Sinus Rinse. I was a little apprehensive at first but I do it and feel better--it comes with a bottle that you mix the solution in and than use that bottle to flush half of the bottle in one side and the other half in the second side. You have to lean over the sink and squeeze away. It feels like you are swimming and got a major load of water up your nose but it helps and is refreshing. It doesn't burn either--like regular water would. Somebody might know of a home remedy/recipe for a flush but this works best for me. Just thought I would pass it along.
