I need to vent about MEN
 
Why do they think they know everthing....Like we women know nothing :eek: It's like when I want something my dh does his best to talk me out of it :mad: I know when I want something I want it, BUT he is like you don't need it right now :eek: He makes me so mad sometime I could just rip his head off, He'll say did you take your meds today :( I am so tried of taking damn meds every day and the head docter adds more :eek: My dh thinks I can't do anything but my wifey duties, It's like I'm a child, Like I have no mind of my own. I DO HAVE A MIND OF MY OWN AND I CAN DO NORMAL THINGS. Maybe he's this way because he loves me.

Mine is like that too, then I remind him who's the boss. ;p hehe

It's in the genes, I'm convinced. LOL your post reminds of something I deal with everyday with my guy friend. It just burns his butt for me to be right. Which I usually am. LOL

Have you told him how you feel? Sounds like either he likes to make all of the decisions (controlling), or he needs someone to baby and to make decisions for (like a child).

Tell your husband there's lots of things we don't NEED....but many we'd like to have. :D :D :D If you can afford it then why the big deal ?....

that 'take your medication' comment would bother me though.....it kind of implies you can't function without it - maybe tell him how it makes you feel when you aren't upset ??

I hear this daily from girlfriends....you just hafta learn to live with the BS these guys can dish out.....WE WOMEN KNOW WE'RE RIGHT 95% of the time LOL.......;)

I agree with Kimberly and Vee - talk to him, tell him how you feel. If it's something you don't need but want and can afford it, I personally don't see the big deal. However, if budget won't afford it, save up for it:) Reminds me of the one and only time I mentioned wanting something to my dh and he said "go pick one out" (wanted an anniversary band). Well, I've never been one to just go pick out something for myself, usually spend extra $$ on the boys or dh. This time, I DID go pick something out for myself which surprised him (he didn't think I had it in me to do...LOL). And I'm still wearing it 10 years later :D
