Congratulations to CCHU (Christine)
 
Christine got a job as Head Teacher in a Pre-school in NY ... She starts Wednesday. This is a big step for her because she is abandoning all her other dreams to pursue her true dream of teaching children. :thumbup:

And letz not forget the children are the FUTURE of America. And we need GOOD people like Christine teaching values.;)


Congratulations Christine ... I wish you luck on Wednesday and I am eager to hear about your first day as a Head Teacher!:)

There's no more noble profession than teaching kids. Congratulations, Christine! If you teach those kids half as much as you've taught us YTers, the world will be a better place!

Congratulations! Bless you in your new profession. My brother gave up a very lucrative career as a research engineer to teach high school science -- something he had always wanted to do. I like to think the future is better for decisions like yours and his! Thank you!

Congratulations on this new chapter in your life! I don't know if I'd trade teaching for anything else, well maybe a family of my own, but that's down the line.

You guys are bringing tears to my eyes!!! This has been sooo hard for me I do keep struggling with the fact that I may have made the wrong decision ONLY because I am throwing everything I worked for in the past 5 years down the drain. However, I do know that I love kids and I want to make a difference.

Thank you guys for your support!! I really need this. Its just all a bit scary to me.

awww, Christine, you do not need our support but you have it ... From what I know of you, I think you will be a great teacher ... and your days will be filled with joy (and sadness when the year ends and the kids move on) ... but all in all ... itz a great choice ....

Hey, maybe you'll meet my daughter at Adelphi????
