Have to have surgery! I'm really sad, I have to have surgery because I have polips in my nose and a deviated septum. I'm trying to do research but it seems no one knows why polips occur. I'm totally bummed. Just when I thought my health was getting back on track. Anyone done this procedure before? |
I've never had it done, but I do have a deviated septum. I wish I could have something done to correct it, because if I breathe through my nose, sometimes one nostril closes because the septum is so far over. I hope everything goes well with your surgery though!! |
Oh No! I hope everything goes alright with your surgery? When will it take place? I googled nasal polyps and got some good sites back..you've probably already seen them but here they are in case you are interested: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...polyps&spell=1 I have known several several people who have had deviated septums repaired and from the description of the nasal polyps, it seems like your surgery will be outpatient, is that correct?? I am sure they will give you some good pain meds and you will be good as new in no time! Just think now much better you will feel once you have this done!!! ;) Good luck! We'll all be thinking about you here! |
haven't had it but good luck to you. Do tons of research and alternative treatments. |
I have a deviated septum also, but have tried to avoid the surgery, because I am a big wuss! I told hubby that if I have to get it done, I am getting a new nose! :p Hope all goes well with your surgery! |

My sister-in-law had surgery for this about a year ago. I know she said it was painful and a real pain to have all that gauze and mess stuffed up her nose for a few days but having the polyps removed was a major relief for her! Good luck!! |
