work at home advice... Where do I begin? I've been looking half heartedly online and it seems there are a lot more scams than paychecks out there. Now I'm getting serious on my job search and it's like going in circles. So if you work from home what is it you do, do you like it and how did you go about finding it? |
I work from home but had worked for the company 4 years before I moved and ended up working remotely. It was a new thing to them and almost like an experiment at first. It's been over a year now and things have worked out well. I work for a software company so everything is done by email/Internet anyway. |
when i was at home and i just had my twins i just made bows and sold home interiors. i didnt like make a house payment with it but i did make a little. but thats not really a job i guess huh |
I did look into sales but found that there are a lot of evening hours involved. I would like to find something I can do from 9am-3pm while the girls are in school. I want to be able to take them to after school activies and the library. Spend more time with my family but yet still have a paycheck coming in. My current job has me working till nine one night and usually six the others... I miss my kids. |

YEAH I WAS WORKING at my sons school for 2 hours a day but when my son passed away(not the son whos school i was workign at) i had so many bills i had to go to work and now i work 8 am till 4 pm but there really isnt a need for med but maybe 8 am to 1pm or noonish but they want me here, i tell them they dont need me here and they are paying me to be on yorkietalk but they dont care :D |
WoW you have a job that pays you to be here with us, that's awesome! ;) My current job really does need me to stay so late and I'm the only one there with grade school children. When I was first hired I worked all evening hours and now that I've been there six years feel there is no reason for them not to let me work 9-4 during the school year. The last hour or two of work there is nothing for me to do. |
