New Puppy
 

I am sooooooooooo happy....i am getting a new puppy today! It is a female yellow lab, my aunt boss had a litter and gave my aunt the runt of the litter (a lil girl named Minnie) She is coming home today, since my aunt lives in a apt, she is mine to keepppppppp...I am so excited, i will post pictured soon...just wanted to share with you all...and also for you guys that have experience with the breed, what should i do special with her?

Congrats Labs are great one of the most loyal i have one myself her name is brownie do you have a name yet? My lab and yorkie get along great.

They call her Minnie cuz she was the smallest. She was the runt, they had to open the bag to get her out, otherwise she could not have made it:( What should i check her for? do you know what are the common health problems in labs?

Congrats on getting a Lab. They are the smartest, my loving dogs I have ever seen. I had a black Lab. The only downside is that they shed very badly. You can teach her to do absolutely anything. They're soooo smart. Midnite, my dog, could shoot a basketball :) among other things.

Congrats on ur lab, they are the most loving and intelligent dogs, i have a choc brown one of 8 months old, shes amazing with my yorkies i call her my gentle giant, she is so sweet and loves to please, she "helps" around the house, she likes to take the cloth out of my hand to help so i give her another cloth and tell her to help, she walks around with her cloth behind me till im done its too cute, she will take the plug of the vacuum cleaner out of my hand and i have to press the button on the vacuum to roll the wire up, she then drops the plug and watches it getting rolled up lol, she picks up all the toys that lay around and puts them all in the toy basket when i ask her.

While shes eating she drops her dry food next to her dish to feed Chelsey :eek: lol
They are great dogs im sure ull have a lot of pleasure with her, we also got the runt of the litter, but she is beautiful now!
They like to take part in family outings, we take our Dounia to the lake and woods a lot so she can have her swim, we also bought her a baby ( doggy pool ) for the back garden, she loves it!
she really "babysits" Chelsey and Chanel while they walking in the garden, she watches them all the time.
she is precious, we love her soooooooooo much!!

How cute...right now Minnie steals food from Mojo...she is just to cute! They play around a lot, but she is very vocal:( I hope she grows to be as smart and nice and your Dounia..:)

Ohh...how big is your pool? I wanna get one for them so they can swim in the summer:) I will post pictures of Minnie and Mojo tomorrow:)
