Sorry I'm a little late to this party - but I couldn't agree more here. I think it is just that regular posters and those who PM know a little more about each other than those who don't post regularly (or aren't on here for hours). I have yet to reach out and not have something there for me and I hope others would say the same for me.

Another way to jump in is with yorkie meet-ups. I have met some really cool people in just two meet-ups. Once you've met in person - I think a bond is sealed!! Heck, I'd come to a yorkie meet-up even if I had to leave Sissy home!!

And don't worry if you don't sell anything - that isn't what it's about either. Besides that, there are so many people who make things - I can't remember half of them!!

So keep jumping right in. Threads like this are great for getting people involved!!!

Actually we seem to have alot of sick little puppies ...but several people have lost their dogs to car accidents....Trooper & Suzi just in 24 hours....and a little one named Lacey just passed too from illness....it's in the RIP section....:(

that's the hardest section to go in ....but that's where the people need the most support :(

I have had to put a stop for a while on my puppymill cruisade, because of my nightmares....:( Hubby was getting mad at me!

I don't remember much about Altus. We moved away when i was 2. My mom was in the Airforce there. I would love to go visit and see my birthplace sometime though! :)

My dad passed away a year ago in Sept, and everywhere I went, people would say to me "Aren't you Jack's daughter? We are sure gonna miss him"
I am going there next month to check in on my step mom when I go to pick up my new puppy. It is just a small town and everyone knew my dad:)

Okay, I'm gonna jump in here too. First let me say, my boobs were born in Texas, but moved up here to Wa State 3 years ago. They are just dying to get back home...hopefully soon! Villette, can't believe you want to leave the state:D Seriously, I understand being homesick from where you from. Washington is a beautiful state (when you can see it from all the RAIN!!!) Also, I would gladly donate these boobs to whomever wants them...I'll even pay for shipping!!
I don't really think there are clicks here, just people who post more often and get to know each other because of it. I have been on here 9 months and just don't post enough for anyone to know who I am. I am on here alot though and read or try to read all the posts, I just am not a big typer I guess:p There are some great people on here though, their caring and compassion come through loud and clear. My husband used to make fun of me for being on here, but he enjoys all the stories I tell him about the yorkies and their humans. I do feel like I actually know some of the people who post, just through what they post and I think I could pick out alot of these yorkies in a crowded room, I really do!! I really,really like this forum and have learned tons! I also miss some of the people who post alot and then go away and you never hear from them again, I wonder what happened to them and their babies (yes, I am weird)!
But to the original poster, yep, I rememeber when you joined and I know who Zoe is, I remember you two because of his name:D and yours too...it does sound like a sneeze:) Anyhow, don't go away, cause then I will have to wonder whatever happened to you and Mr. Zoe.

Well V you have a way of making me feel like an a$$.. I love you... I avoid that room like its contagious!!! It hurts so bad to go in there!! But you are so right!!!! Its where the people need the most support... It kills me when your right girl... which is like 99% of the time!!!!!

I still think the name is unisex!! ANyhoo, as for the lost section, my heart really breaks when I hear of accidents or deaths. I lost 2 pets myself and I can't imagine ever losing ZOe. Its just such a tough subject and yes, they do need the most support and when I come by a sad post, I try to sympathize but really there's nothing you can say that will take the pain away.

I tell you my hubby really thought that name rocked for a boy!!!!!

ok...I wanted to thank Christine again for starting this thread...:thumbup: and since I'm totally bored on this saturday morning waiting for my house to wake up I thought I'd post a few helpful things and get off the silly stuff...I know this is only a DOG FORUM but it's also a way to make real friendships.

For those who feel left out - here's some ways to change that...

Post to peoples pictures. I see a few people that feel left out but hardly post - When you interact and reply to people.... ESPECIALLY when they take their time to post pictures - Replies ARE appreciated and it really can start friendships and conversation....I used to do that all the time when I started here and it's probably why I have this ridiculous post count:p

Post your OWN pictures - tell a story to go with them maybe - it helps and people love reading captions etc. Also - reply to those who reply to YOU - that keeps conversation going and will make you feel more comfortable here. IF you don't know HOW to post pictures - ASK !!! There's lots of us who will help you.

Start your own Threads and don't be afraid to joke around. We have funny funny people here.

PM People privately....Even if it's just to say hi - you'd be surprised at how many people really appreciate that and you never know - you may just be making a new friend :) :) :)
