im not nice so i would tell them if there dogs dont stay on there side im gonna take them to the pound (you dont have to ) |
Do you have an HOA? If so I would complian to them about your problem. Also, I would call the police on them if it keeps happening because it sounds like the dogs are causing damage to your property. BTW your neighbor is responsible for 50% of the cost to the fence that you share with him. My parents had to replace part of their fence and the neighbor refused to pay their portion and my parents took them to small claims court. Needless to say the neighbor had to pay more than what the replacement of the fence was. |

I'm not that confrontational I guess....I just want him to fix HIS side and he keeps mending it....whatever he's doing isn't working....the other day I came home to Ray Ray in my yard - took her home (carefully lol) and no sooner did I get her in her yard.... she had crawled under again lol - MY side is barricaded as you can see but man it looks SO bad |
OK Villette, I have the best solution. Pack up your hubby, the girls, and of course yourself and move here with me. You can have the whole down stairs. There is 2 bedrooms, a huge family room a small kitchen and bar, and french doors to the back yard. that will have a new privacy fence in the spring. |
I'm sorry your having a problem with your neighbor's dogs. Have you looked into bird netting? It is strong and inexpensive. You could stake it down in the ground, cover it up with dirt and staple it to the bottom of the fence line. My mother-in-law did this with her neighbor who's 'farm' animals kept wandering over and eating her landscaping. |
can i come live with you ? V doesnt need 2 bedrooms lol |

Villette...how frustrating for you! If you could get ahold of some metal posts (poles), you could bury them in the ground beside the fence...probably stacked in two's. It would be a lot of work though and it really sucks that you have to spend a lot of blood, sweat and tears trying to remedy the situation. I wish I was closer and I'd help! I love a challenge and usually can come up with something, but it takes a lot of time...especially if you have to start digging dirt! PS...Maddie and I wanna come live with Lexi's Mommy too! |
Connie you and Maddie can come too. We will have a HUGE yorkie party. Ew, we could do make overs and everything. LMAO :lol tears :lol tears |

OH man - my update in 24 hours Ray Ray & Son dug 2 new holes and Ray Ray can turn herself into a HAMPSTER and crawl thru them - The funny thing was - she went BACK under to her own yard today LOL !! I guess she didn't like me marching her little butt back to her house with Tessa's leash lol - She's a little MOLE I swear ... Now I see how small a space she can crawl thru and I'm in for lots more of this if I don't fix it ASAP. The upside was - all of the girls played for a few minutes - she is a really cute little dog... time to talk to my man next door - this'll be fun. He's the biggest flirt I've seen on a long time. Wish me luck I need it - I have 30-40 feet of fence to fix now. |

Thank you - I plan to talk to him one more time and see if he'll lay tile all along his side ... right now I can't do it because I tore my shoulder and it's just getting to where I can move it up and down some without intense pain...but need to do something and fast.....the chicken wire sounds great and I may just talk HIM into doing it for me on my side since it's HIS dogs digging. I'll buy the wire and he can do the work. It's Brilliant !!!:D :D That's my plan and I'm stickin to it. Thanks guys !! |
