New Year's Resolutions??? So, anyone want to share what is on your resolution list this year? What about last years list - did you accomplish any of it? Mine are pretty generic: Lose Weight Be more productive Make more money Be more organized Pay off a few debts Spend more time w/ family Have more "me" time (do those two really go together) -ha and I could go on and on....... Hummm......me last years list was pretty much like this one! Gee, do I see a repeating pattern here??!!! |
Someone posted this on 4WomenTalk and I LOVED it ....this is my story and I'm stickin to it..... Now that 2007 is about to begin, Just think....... You have another chance to do the things you planned to do in 2006!!! my big goal is to get my own self more financially stable & plan for the future better. |

I didn't even add "draw up a five and ten year plan" this year like I did last year- shot! I tried that once and just got depressed! HA! (joking)! I can't even plan (as hard as I try and as picky as I am) out my day to day schedule anymore!!!! oh, what has become of the old Jenn???? hee,hee |

This is my 2007 PLAN: More time for Hubby Be Less stressful about work Lose LOTS of weight Make More Scrapbooking time :) |
My number one resolution is to lose 40 pounds. (That is funny, I thought I typed 30 but when I looked up it said 40..... hmmmm..... maybe Someone is trying to tell me something, ya' think? LOL! I also want to become more organized with my housework. There are only 3 people and 4 dogs living here but sometimes it looks like a batallion just moved through. Maybe we don't really need 423 dog toys? (I am just kidding -- I have not counted them all!) |

MY next year's resolution is to quit drinking Starbucks every freaking day and make my own coffee at home, so the $3.50 I spent every day (yes I'm saying every single day, 7 days a week sometimes 2 twice a day)I'm going to put them in my savings account, and with that money I'm going to buy me an espresso machine at the end of the year ;) |
Mine are: Stop using foul language Cut back on smoking Clean the house more often That's it.... Keeping the list short with hopes to keep one resolution! |
I want to be 150 pounds before my 31st birthday in August. This is the year I do it, I know it!!!:p Have more patience with my children. Set a schedule for work so I can spend more time with family. Be a happy person.:) |

In 2007 I would Like to get a new job. get omer organized. And lose some much needed weight. |
I would like to.... Try to be more optimistic about life. Learn to take control of my future. Get rid of my crappy lawyer. Spend more quality time with my family. Get more in control of my health and diet. Rid the negative forces out of my life (toxic people) Yay!! As you can tell the nasty greedy people trying to steal my father's estate are getting to me and I vow to not let them steal my happiness any longer. |
My New Year's Resolution is going to be to try to "live in the moment that I am in". I find my days and weeks are just flying by, and I am always thinking of "what next" and I don't take the time to enjoy the moment that I am in. I have been trying to do that especially this holiday season when my boys have been home from college. I only had 3 days with one of them, and it went by soooo fast. I know it won't always be possible, but I am going to try to be aware of it and try to live each moment and not just be thinking ahead to the next thing :) That is my New Year's Resolution....I'm not even going to begin to torture myself with the "lose weight thing" :D (although I should) |
* Stop Smoking * work out more |
Ahhh...well.... new years... lose the last five pounds go back to school pay off some of my debt not shop as much |
I didn't have one for 06, mainly because I never go through with them. For 07 my bf wants me to quit smoking with him. Pretty soon all the bars are going to ban smoking, so we figure to just quit and it'll be easier when we go out. I think I'm just going to do pilates every day instead though...that seems like an easier goal |

QUOTE]  We made the big decision this year to stay put (not to our families liking) however, we decided to make the decision and no longer think of moving, that was very stressful on the both of us. We did some big changes this fall around our home to simplify life so hopefully it will prove to be a lot easier and less work for me. Thank you for your post. I guess my New Year's resolution is going to be like the one you are wanting for yourself too. Sounds great to me. Patti |
