| RowdysMom | 12-23-2006 12:28 PM | I've used internet cafes when traveling. Last summer, I was using one, and it was like $10.00 per hour or something like that. Anyway, they said that I could use it on the street (with my card and account number), if I didn't want to come in to the cafe. So, the next time, I parked out on the street, just a little way from the cafe and when I turned on my laptop, it connected to the FREE wireless from the City Hall building. I was so mad!!! Here I had paid good money to connect at the cafe, when all I had to do was walk a few steps down the street and connect for free!!! Through my travels, I have found that many public libraries also have free wireless internet.
But I agree, internet cafes are fun and they are really great, if that is your only way to get on the internet. |
