I'm not familiar with tnr is that the same as the "spay and release" program we have around here? |
can you get close enough to catch them? if so the animal control will come get them if you have them contained or contain them and take them to your local shelter. Make sure it's not a killing shelter. Also contact some rescue groups in the area they will help after you have them contained or ask around to see if anyone will take them in |
yes its the same as by you :D |

soon as you open the door or gate they JET off i have no way of getting them to the shelter the animal control is aweful here i dont think i have enough cages to catch them all the rescues are even worse all they say is there full and hang up im going to try and catch as many as i could |
seems the thing to would be to 'relocate' the ever-fertile feline ;). As Animal Control for a Live Trap, (harmless, just holds them in a cage) and then take her into spca or help her find a more attractive residence. |

   once you have her, take her to a shelter or rescue. Please don't just dump her off on someone else's land. |
i wont do that there still female kittens that will cause the same problem by them time summer comes there will be like 30 kittens !! |

I feel for you! Right now we live in front of a large lake. In our backyard is a deep ravine with tons of underbrush. There are at least 14 adult cats and too many kittens to count. They are very, very wild and won't let anyone near them, and we tried (with food, them getting to know us, etc). Anyways, the cats aren't really bothering anyone (they aren't on "our" property, and the city/gov't owns the lake) but it's so sad to see them out there. Especially the little tiny kittens. :( We asked our vet about us keeping one or two of the kittens, and he said most feral cats end up having feline leukemia (AIDS) and it probably wouldn't be a good idea with our other pets. :( *sighs* Sorry I'm of no help. Just wanted to share. |
uhh poor you, my gma has the same problem, they called out animal control to come get them but when they caught on it scratche dthe heck out of them and kept on going, but these are breeding with their brother and sister kittens and its sick they just keep on coming, its grosss, i really dont know what to do either my grams quit feeding them but then they started bring ing dead animals up there, heck i dont know what they were but they looked like gian t mice or something but they were killing them and feeding that way so who knows, its sad, my two cats are inside cats and they are both fixed, i love them but its gross when people just dump their cats |
