How to Bathe a Cat 2 Attachment(s) 1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl. 2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom. 3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid. 4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this. 5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and rinse". 6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door. 7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids. 8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where it will dry itself off. 9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean. Attachment 84705 Sincerely, THE DOG Attachment 84706 |

LOL i found out the hard way about trying to bath a cat. i tried to bath my cat when he was a kitten because i adopted him when he was young and he had diarrhea from the food change he had it all over him so i had to bath him... well a few battle scars later i have learned you do not bath cats !!!!! lol |

I'm too much of an animal lover I guess...poor kitty!:p ;) |
I groom and bath a lot of cats at work and it can get pretty exciting sometimes. It would be so much easier to do it your way...... |

This was great! :D :D Some cats though really don't mind the bath so much. We had to bathe our two outdoor cats 3 times a week last year to get rid of the ringworm they brought with them from the shelter. Better yet, they had to be bathed and then put in a small kennel to let the shampoo sit for 10 minutes and then get rinsed. It wasn't so bad but they were pretty young so I guess they got used to it. |
LOL -- those two pictures at the end are priceless! I felt a little guilty laughing at the cat's misfortune but not much as it was a joke "written by" the dog. I was picturing the process in my mind like an old Hanna Barbeara cartoon already. Comedy -- Roadrunner/coyote style but this time the coyote wins :) |
:lol tears thats sooo funny I especially like how they made it from a dog! that poor kitty! ty for sharing |
