Does any one know... of a good facecream for semi sensitive skin. I'm 19 and would like to start taking care of my skin now and prevent wrinkles, etc. I need a face cream that will moisturize after I wash it and that won't clog my pores because I have had/have some acne. So any suggestions please? |
You don't need to spend a lot to take good care of your skin. One of the best skin care lines out there is Oil of Olay, available at your local drug store. :p |
I have extremely sensitive skin and have tried a few good products. Lancome has a moisturizer called Hydra Zen - very good for sensitive skin. Neutrogena has good products and they are more reasonably priced. |
Brutus'mama swears by Arbonne and I have some from her & LOVE it - it's a great line and they have one special for sensitive skin |
I use Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer for Combination Skin. I have tried SEVERAL SEVERAL moisturizers (expensive and cheaper brands), and I keep coming back to this one. It is the only one that doesn't make my face breakout or make my face oily yet it moisturizes very well. I love it and it's CHEAP! |

I actually heard there is no difference between the most expensive and inexpensive face creams. I have had problems with both acne and dry skin. So I use Rich Moisture face cream by Avon mixed with a tiny bit of Retina (sp?). |
I third that Oil of Olay Quote:
I have been using it since i was like 19 as well and 12 years later my face is smooth no oily skin or anything it's light i love the smell it's very soft, and yes i have really sensitive skin this is the only one i can use. |
ooh, I do....I LOVE a very basic over-the counter cream that is super inexpensive at $15 at the drug stores...it's the neutrogena anti-wrinkle cream (not the one with SPF Sunscreen) I put it on 2x a day but be careful if you have sensitive cream as I believe it has retinol (very low grade of retin-a). I would die w/o this product and I think it really minimizes wrinkles, moisturizes, as well as smooths out the skin. I saw results after about 2 week's use. JR |
We're the same age :D I love using Aveeno's positively radiant moisturizer. Makes your skin look REALLY good, moisturizes it and doesn't clog porse. I've used this stuff for about a year not and can't get enough of it! |
I am 22 and also use creams to prevent wrinkles and I don't want anything that will break my skin out either...I am addicted to Cetaphil..it's relatively cheap, also have the generic brand which is just as good... I love the stuff. You can rub it on your face and wipe it off with a kleenex or toilet paper and it leaves a light moisturizing coat on your skin's surface, but you can also rinse if off with water for less of a moisturizing feeling....I wash it off with water in the am and wipe it off with a towel at night to keep my skin more hydrated overnight..I also use eye cream every night because I tan and do not want more wrinkles than normal from that..I use a product that is from a salon called Sheltons..it's like 20 bucks but I am sure there is something comparable out there in the market for cheaper than that even! Good Luck-Nice skin is a chore! (unless genetically you are blessed). |
I have sensitive skin and psorasis (sp?). I got with my dermotalogist (sp?) and she recommend Clinique. I Love it!!! |

It doesn't for me but I guess my skin absorbs it or something! I wash it off with water in the mornings so I don't get too oily but at night I just wipe it vs using a moisturizer unless I have really dry skin.... |
I wish I had an answer. I'm 22 and still fighting pimples!! (I never had a problem until a couple years ago ) |
