New Dog Law?
 
The city my parents live in might adopt a new law having to do with dogs. The only problem is that this law is going to be abused...... BIG TIME.
A neighbor that is mad at you could call and tell the police that your dog is barking and it would cost $240 to come out and "assess th e situation." and then $500 on the second visit. and so on. My parents dog is not a barker, but she barks at some people that walk by to make them go away (it is kind of funny because she barks at the 'shady characters') anyways. Even if the dog is barking because something is WRONG.
there are going to be a lot of dogs with their barkers removed :thumbdown

That law surely does NOT seem fair ... dogs bark at times, that is their nature ... wouldn't the "neighbors" have to have proof of incessant barking???

That would be a no..... they would not need proof, all they would need to do it call and the people would come out and 'assess the situation' which would be $240 for the first time,......... silly isnt it?

we live in cali yes, but this is a new city ordinance..... so it is just for lucky old them

What part of Calif. is this, might it be within the Los Angeles and Los Angeles County areas? I believe it will pass as they seem to be passing these and other new laws out here right and left. For who does this benefit???????
All these government officials keep giving themselves these raises?????? Hope they save some of it cause when they go on SS, the SS raises are slim and it don't go very far, give with one hand and then raise the Medi Care with the other, this is just one lil ole ladies opinion. Hope the people in the area speak up on this new law so hopefully it won't pass.
