the size was ok but talk about el cheapo straps - that's the biggest problem I find with them - they do stretch and after a few months you may as well not bother wearing anything they get so out of shape in the straps - |

Lilyette Bras I'm a DDD and the only bras I like are Lilyette. They are for full-figured women and you can find them at Penny's, Kohls and Belks. They cost around $28, but Kohls offers them at a bargain $16.98 sometimes. Penny's also discounts them. Just last week Penney's had a buy 2, get 2 free sale. It might still be on...check and see. Try Lilyette...you will like them. |
oh my bloody back!!!!!!!!! i have problems now with my back... ouch!!! |
Count me in as another big busted, hard to fit woman! You think you all have problems...(except for yorkiepip)... Try finding 32D bras. Yes, women DO naturally come in that size. And it's not fun. I wore 34C for the longest time, thinking that was my size, but I started having shoulder issues. So then I went to Fredericks, and they remeasured me at 32D. Let me tell you, my shoulders are SO MUCH HAPPIER! A few months ago, I went into VS to look at bras, and find out if they carry 32D in the store (they do online), and they don't. WARNING LADIES! PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND! So-called "sister sizes" don't exist. You are one size. That is what I was told at Fredericks. Over Thanksgiving break, I went into the HUGE VS at my local mall back home. I was thinking that they may have it. The woman there was training a girl, and mentioned the sister size thing. I said "Nuh-uh. Those give me shoulder problems. I am a 32D. NOT a 34C." And she turned and told her trainee that I am a "true" 32D. If someone comes in and has this problem, direct them to [section of the store]. Some of the big VS stores have an Italian company that they carry that has an adjustable *band*! I was ecstatic! But I didn't have enough money at the time, so I'll just go back when I'm working over winter break :D ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Now that the anecdote is done...anyone have ideas for someone with a college student budget and 32D boobs? |

My mom is flat i definitely inherited them from my dad's side and it sucks! I too wore the wrong size bra. when i was told i was a DD i freaked out  what a DD?!?!?! then it was time to TRY and find bras that fit right. I will go on a bra hunt this weekend and post my findings. |

And yes, I do know exactly what you're talking about there! I've been there and done that. This bra seems to pull from the right spot on the cup so that there is NO digging on the sides and the straps are wide enough that there couldn't possibly be any digging going on. |

I thought "I cannot be a D. D's are for porn stars and for saline in baggies. D's are for pregnant ladies. D's are not for a 5'0", [I won't reveal my weight here, but I'll tell you that I'm less than 120 lbs] 22 year old woman." Oh, and my mom was an A-cup at my age. This is definitely from Dad's side. Of course, whether it's completely paternal, we don't know, since I was the first girl on my father's side born in 100 years! |
Do you have a Lane Bryant in Jersey? I have that problem, too, and Lane Bryant is the only place I can find comfortable, affordable bras. You can also go on-line to find them. The catalogue is called the "Woman Within". Good hunting! Debbie |
OMG, I am rollin' over some of the replies here!:yelrotflm But being well endowed myself, I can do that.;) I HATE trying to find 'full coverage' bras!:( And WHITE is so boring! And when you do find one with the needed support, you have to sell a kidney to afford them and go waaaay out of your way to a place that carries them! Grrrrrr! Whew, feels good to vent about that with some other ladies who can sympathize! But hey, at least now I know where Vee got that red leather thong!:D |
Yep, the bigger the ladies get the uglier the bras!!!! |
