I need to vent
 
Ok so apparently my family and friends are throwing me a bridal shower tomorrow and one of my friends emailed ME to find out if it was tomorrow or next friday, my response was: I didnt know I was having a shower and she cont. to ask me about it:confused: :confused: what the heck??? Ok thanks for listening

Okay...the element of surprise is gone. But you are still blessed with friends and family that are giving a party in your honor. Smile and overlook your "slow" friend.

I just have to stay positive and realize that everyone was planning this special day and it will still be lots of fun!!!! I will let everyone know how it turns out tomorrow

Sorry that she ruined your surprise. I, for one, HATE surprises like that...so I would have been happy. :p LOL When I was going to get married, I knew darn well I was getting a shower, so I wanted to know everything. I'm a nosey bitch, though. :eek: :rolleyes: :cool:

No lives were lost. Your wedding wasn't ruined, you'll still be just as married.

In the grand scheem of things this is a minor incident. It will no longer be a surprise, but you were still surprised, just a little sooner. Your fried probably feels horrible about it.

Now be honext, weren't you expecting one anyway.

I was expecting one just not now, Im getting married in Feb.(so i was thinking it would have been later) Every year the girls in my fam do a x-mas gift exchange and dinner (witch is tomorrow) so I thought. I have been really looking forward to our dinner tomorrow but turns out its more than our usually x-mas dinner.. I had NO clue of the shower

When she realized you nothing about it she should have shut up then. The same thing happened with my shower many years ago. My friends and Mom had worked very hard on my surprise and I never let on..of course the girl didn't let on she told me either cause she would have had to left town:p Enjoy your shower I'm sure a lot of love went into it.

I'm thinking that she probably after she realized that she stuck her foot in her mouth, she continued talking because she didnt know what else to say... However, now you know that there is something being planned for you (not sure when) and that your friends and family are going out of their way to make your day extra special!!! (airheads included)

Have a great shower!! Can't wait to read all about the wedding plans!!:)
