Please Read And Understand OK... As some of you know I have been late getting out things in the past and I am sorry for all the edelays. This is exactly why I Discontinued all my sewing items except for the bands because they are fast. I am doing treats, my blakets sets and personalized items still...I am sorry for the delay and I hope i did not lose any business.. Thank You! You should have all your stuff in the next 3-4 days! I got overwhelmed and had to much stuff on my plate...since I caught cought up on all my orders..sewing wise and such than everything will be smooth sailing from now on....you order treats or whatever on monday for instance they will be shipped within 3 days max.....no excuses. If not than you will get a free gift after that time. I am trying to make this work and be a great business but as I said I got really overwhelmed as I just dont sell here. I sell on ebay and around here as well. That is why I have gotten out of the sewing end and want to concentrate on my treats and such as I have been told from numerous people they are what will make me so Please be patient and I assure you I will make it right and again sorry for the delays and that problems. What was your turn around time? I'm sure everyone understands. Especially with the holiday season, it is a crazy time. I never imagined that I would need 2-3 weeks to get orders out, but sometimes I do. It takes a long time to handmake items, customers are almost always understanding of that fact. Good luck with your treats, I'm sure you'll do great with whatever you do. |
its been pushing 3 weeks....I dont like that so thats why I cut back on my stuff. :( My treat are alot faster to make...better stick to what im good at i guess! |
I'm sure it's all good. Maybe when people order you can tell them up front that it's going to take ____ this long to get it out. :D Keep up the good work. |
yeah. maybe i shoud have., Im so down on myself right now. NOTHING is going right at all and im just a big downer on myself I guess. Again though This will no longer be an issue. No excuse for late shipments now at all! |
Oh stop. It's not like you are the only to get behind on things at one point or another. Bottom line is you recognized a problem with your business and you are taking the steps to correct it. Now stop being a downer and get your butt to work!! You've got to have a positive attitude to be successful and make it work. |
hey girl - just let them know if they pm you that it has or hasn't shipped yet - people are very understanding ....but not hearing anything always makes people wonder - I know when I started making my cards the first few orders took me 2 weeks to do from start to finish ...if anyone had pm'd me I would have answered them ASAP - They didn't :) and were patient - but I would probably be bugging someone after a few weeks too :D We all understand getting behind but people understand BETTER if they know what's going on...... |
I understand that. I should have kept better contact with people. I realize now what needs to be done. Need to start thinking more like a business and not just a hobby!! SO Please bare with me and please take notice that I know the stuff I have done wrong and am fixing it. :) I am going to be successful and you all are going to love me! :):D |

I just want to sqay that I appreciate all your support and that again I am really sorry for the delays and problems. you know I have done daycare for almost 4 years and I just am trying to do something different so i can spend more time with MY kids and go do stuff with them but still make an income. my hubby let me get down to one kid and stuff because of my business but I think ill have to go take on more kids now since im not selling like I was. I really feel I have messed up my chance of EVER getting out of it. Imn not looking for symphathy or any of that i just needed to talk it out to you all since i consider you all my yt family. I wanted to do this sooo bad that I stretched myself WAY to far and long and now im paying the price for it as are my kids. My youngest will be 4 January 28th.. and only 3 months out of her WHOLE life has she had just mommy to herself in her own home. I wish and pray everyday it will get better, but it dont. I advertise and advertise and nothing ever comes about it. I appreciate the orders I do get and was stupid to be so late!! Im just so damn mad at myself and dont know how to fix it!!:mad: :( :confused: It just about makes me give up... |
Don't give up - I can wait a long time for something if I know there is a good reason and am told this up front - just start slow and do what you can do - but Customer service is a big part of any job whether it be online, on the phone, or face to face There is a saying I used to hear at one of my jobs all the time - The CUSTOMER is KING lol - so basically - you bow to the customer and try to always stay ahead of any potential problems - BUT - if you know something is or could be a problem - tell them before they have to come find you. It's never fun chasing someone down ...and people will appreciate you going to them 1st. |

YT member are always so very understanding, I cannot ask for a better customer base . . . in case you have not done so, I highly suggest you put a leadtime on your website so they know for sure how long it will take. Trying to PM or e-mail each and every customer can be time consuming task. This should resolve the confusion. The holidays are always the worse, especially for someone like me who has a full time job. :p wishing you continued success on your doggie business :thumbup: |

I just want to send some :ghug: to a fellow craftsperson who is stressin' out. One order at a time .... don't look at the "stack" waiting for you, just the one on top :) It is a good thing that you have lots of orders coming in..... Try setting up a calendar wite down when each order comes in and the date when that ONE order will go out.... Be realistic with your turn-around times and write EVERY SINGLE order on the calendar, large and small. That way you have a visual of outstanding orders and promise dates. Most people don't mind waiting for a short while for quality as long as you communicate with them. again sending :ghug: |
