My yorkie weighed in at 1lb 10oz just this month at her spay and I was terribly nervous about the surgery, one of the reasons I didn't go to my main vet was because she's so small. She made it through like champ, though.

And nobody holds my dog, let alone pass her around she doesn't like it when strangers hold her anyways she tries to jump.

how sad she passed away :[ what makes me angry is they stated that junebugs owner went ahead and purchased another one ... that shows how much she REALLY cared for her yorkie <l3

Paris Hilton needs to educate herself and stop promoting these undersized dogs - for a smart girl with alot of money - she has no freaking sense ....if she really loved animals - she'd wise up on the risks of going that small :thumbdown but no - it's a FASHION Accessory - and the world has her to thank for that.

Doesn't mean she ever got one, does it?

Personally, I think Paris gets a bad rap about her pets (among other things). If she wasn't famous and successful, no one would pay any attention to te fact that she has so many pets. So what if she has three or four dogs.. don't some people on YT have that many?

Just because you seem some random picture of her with a dog out doesn't mean she is a bad pet owner.

As for promoting tiny dogs as "fashion accessories" has she ever publicity said that is what she is trying to do?

LOL you got me :) - I think she has business smarts but that's about all.

I wish she would start taking in shelter dogs ...maybe all her 'followers' would run out and do the same - the shelters would be far less crowded.

the way she promotes tiny tiny dogs I don't respect at all ...but she could do ALL dogs so much good if she used her head and heart - she KNOWS there are girls that idolize her - though WHY I have no idea & if she really wanted to do some good - why not start THAT fad ???

Wow! That is sad......I honestly didn't even know a vet would spay one that tiny! I would have been a nervous wreck!!!!! Poor little angel!

I feel bad for Paris, she's always going on and on about how people act so desperate, when she's the most desperate person I've ever seen. Desperate to be famous, desperate for people to like her, desperate to have the newest, "hottest" trend; thus her toting around to-tiny dogs and replacing them when they get over a desired weight. Grow up! Animals are not shoes that you can dispose of at the end of fashion season, they are living breathing, beings that deserve life long committments!:mad:

I think when people have so much money; so much that they do not know where to spend, they can do whatever they want. She doesn't have time to take care of them. She probably employ a maid to take care of them.

From what I have seen about her I really believe that Paris has been an animal lover since she was little. But I really wish she wouldn't use her puppies as fashion accessories because she is a trend setter and some people want to copy her. I feel so sad for little Junebug.
