Pomegranates Can anybody tell me how to eat/serve a pomegranate? Thank you ever so much ;) |
You just peel it or cut it in half and scoop out the berries...I don't really care for them...too many seeds. I do like the taste of them though |
Im not sure about the actual fruit, but if you buy pomagranite juice they make a fabulous pom-martini |
just cut in half and eat. I don't particularly like the seeds although they're edible so I just suck on it and spit the seeds out :D Be careful, as they stain big time. |
Cut in half, put the seed side down into your palm, spread your fingers a bit. Take a butter knife and hold the sharp side in your other palm and smack the fruit over the top so the seeds fall through your fingers. Takes 5 minutes and you get all the seeds out. Be sure to wear something you dn't mind dirtying up. :D |
I do the "smack" method. I loove pomegranates. |
I dont know how to get the seeds out but I know it stains terribley. |

i don't know but i have two bushes in my front yard growing them. the nursery said they wouldnt have fruit but they did. i love the bush b/c it has lots of orange flowers thru out the summer |
You cut the pom in quaters then place the whole thing in a bowl of water the seeds will fall to the bottom the white part will float....learned this after making pom martinis... |
