My hubby and I scoured the ads until like 2 a.m..........and went to bed, woke up at 4 a.m. and by 4:20 a.m., we were standing in line at Circuit City, waiting for it to open at 5 a.m. (Coats, hats, gloves, the works. I even brought a mug of Earl Grey to keep me warm.)

But even though we got there 40 minutes before the doors opened, we were still about two hundred people behind in line.......the line was backed up against the shopping center. It was NUTS!

So, my husband and I bought:
- HP Computer, monitor and printer ($499)
- 250GB external hard drive ($40)
- wireless keyboard and mouse ($10)
- internet security software (free)
- wireless router (free)
- 1GB portable usb drive ($4)
- 50 DVD-R pack (free)
- two movie dvd's ($6 for both)

Our credit card was charged $1108.20..........but after these rebates come back, we will have gotten ALL OF THAT for only about $565!)

It was a paiiiiiin in the behind to write all of those rebates. Several of the items had more than one rebate, so I had to cut out all the UPC codes from the boxes and scan and print them at my office. And then there's the issue of having twenty rebates and not knowing which envelope goes to which address. But hey, it was worth it!

Since we bought a new house, I can't afford to get a new computer this nice otherwise.....and now I have one. Yay! Talk about Thanksgiving? I am thankful! :)
