Never again....
 

Never again will I go Midnight shopping!!!! OMG! It was total chaos! We left my house about 10:30 pm last night. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the shopping outlets where they were having the Midnight Madness! LOL!!! So I know we are getting close, (even in the thick, heavy fog....grrrrrrrrr) and all of a sudden there is a line of cars at a dead stop about 6 miles BEFORE the exit to get off at. OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!! I can't believe this was the traffic for the shopping! There were State Patrols going real slow, and making sure no one jumed out of line. It took us about an hour and a half just to reach the exit. I was getting soooo PO"D! And I HAD to pee! UGH! So we hit the exit ramp, and it took us another 1/2 hour to get into the parking lot! OK....so now I am seeing the light, and now that very soon I will be able to run and go pee...very soon! LOL!

So I see an empty parking spot, and I go to pull in, and there are people getting out of the SUV in the spot next to it, and they STAND in my spot....they have the nerve to tell me NO, that they are SAVING that spot for their friends who are still on the highway......ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!! OMG, OMG, OMG......WTF?????? SO I said screw it, and I start to pull in...and the 5 of them join hands and won't let me in the spot. I inch up on them, and they start hitting my car......OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!! Of course, I am swearing up a storm by now and cussing at them!!! I should have ran them over.....HHAHAHAH! But they weren't worth my time and energy. So we drive around and did find a spot, but I was sooo ready to go key that person fancy Escalade! HAHAH! What nerve.......

So away we go.....the line to the Coach store was outragious! Well, that was the main reason for me to go to the outlets! It was about a 2 hour wait to get in. And at this point my blood was boiling. So we go to get in line, and mind you, it was 28 degrees last night. So it was going to be a long, cold wait! And I look to the front of the line, and there is one of my coworkers!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! My saivior!! My angel!!!! So I went up to talk to her, and YES....we cut everyone else in line!!!!! She was about 15 people back! YAY!!! People were screaming and moaning at us, but I was in rare form, and said....DON"T MESS WITH US!!! I JUST GOT INTO IT OVER A PARKING SPOT, and I don't care what yall think at this point! So they all shut up, and 10 minutes later, I was in the Coach store!!!!!!

So I got home about 6:00am this morning! And I will NEVER do Midnight Madness ever, ever, ever again!! NO way!!!! I have NEVER seen soooo many people! It was a total mad house! And I am used to the day after thanksgiving shopping. And in the 10 years of doing this, this takes the cake!!!!! It took us about an hour to get of the place too...traffic was a nightmare!!!

OK, sorry this is soooooooo long, but I had to vent about all this!

WOW..Im just glad you made it out alive....LOLOL.. I didnt even get up this morning but since we only have a walmart...what was the point BUT NOW if we had like target, sears, kohls...HELL YA id be up with the chickens...lol

After we got out of the Coach store, we headed straight to the bathrooms!!!!

Sorry about your experience. I was up at 3 am trying to get a laptop for $299 at office depot. I waited in line out in the cold for two hours and still did not get a laptop. Then I went to toysrus and it was a mad house but I did get my Daughters Christmas done. No more Black friday shoping for me

OMG that sounds like a horrible time - I can't stand crowds - especially crowds when money is the key issue lol - Did you ever get the stuff at coach you went for at least ?

I think it's so wrong of stores to offer such hot deals they drive people to an insane frenzy & only stock a few of the items - what a gimmick but that's how they hook you into the store -

I think it would have been fun to shop a few years back but the fun is so gone from doing that kind of thing now - and lucky you seeing your co-worker !

What a nightmare. I learned a long time ago that it just is not worth it. I refuse to go shopping on black friday. The way I see it, my portion of an ER visit is far more than the few bucks I might save at midnight madness sales. You were just lucky that those people holding that parking spot did not have a gun or something! I think I would have gone back and keyed that Escalade for sure. If they can afford the Escalade, why not beat the parking hassle and hire a limo to take them where they want to go?

Did you get any good deals at Coach? That would be a pain but to get awsome deals esp for Coach!! What did you get??:D

HAHAH! I did get what I was looking for! I got everyone on my list Coach scarf's and matching gloves. And the matching wristlets! So yes, I got what I needed! I was a good girl and didn't buy much for me! :( None of the purses caught my eye, and so I passed on those. I also got my hubby a wallet! I think he will like it! But there were people in there buying like 6 & 7 purses at a time. I am sure they will all be on ebay here real soon! HAHAH!

oh my goodness that's ridiculous, and to think I was going to go to the outlets with my brother last nite but I passed bcuz no money :/

We had people lining up at 3pm for the midnight opening!! It was nuts.
