Oh Gosh! I am so very sorry to hear about your husband. It is such a shock when they get sick suddenly. I sure hope he recovers soon - blood clots in the lungs can be so very serious. I hope they get his clotting problems solved quickly.

OMG!! I'm glad to hear that he is getting better, though. What a horrible ordeal. Thoughts and prayers coming your way. Take care of yourself, too.

We will keep you all in our prayers! I know how terrified you must be .... my Patrick had a clot that caused a stroke several years ago and a heart attack this past May! I panic if he gets a headache and still can't sleep but a few hours each night! My life would be over without him. Get rest every second you can, he will need you when he has recovered! God bless you and give you strength. Please update us when you can.

OH gosh, I am soo sorry to hear about this. How aweful this must be for you and your family. And sooo young! Oh my goodness. Sending you lots and lots of hugs and prayers your way. Please keep us updated.

WOW! I am so touched by the caring responses....thank you soooo very much! Several have asked what caused it....my husband is a heavy equipment operator and sits 10-12 hours a day without a break. The bent knees and lack of movement are the culprit. He had severe pain in August and we ended up in the ER....they thought he had pleursy and sent him home the next day. When he got the same pain, we "KNEW" it was Pleursy again and were back in the ER because he could barely breath. This time it just got worse and worse. Now we know that he had to have had a blood clot(s) then and was misdiagnosed. Thank God it didn't kill him between then and now. Again, I really want to thank each of you for responding....it really helps so much to come on and find that so many care and are praying for us.

Thats scarey a few weeks ago I was worried that I had blood clots in my legs from sitting and sewing .I had awful pains for a week.

Yikes! I just saw this too...I hope your hubby is doing better and your are taking care of yourself in the meantime as well. That's scary stuff...I lost my best friend....will be 2 yrs ago on Dec 3rd...unexpectedly to a blood clot in her leg.:( It is wild how things can come out of thin air like that. The doctors said had they even known, they could have had her system in check in a few days and kept an eye on her an prevented it, but she didn't have a clue.

Thank God you guys found this problem and your hubby is getting things sorted out and is under a watchful eye! You are both in my thoughts. :hug: Please keep us updated with his recovery.

And, why it's so very important that folks with sit-down jobs insist on taking their legal breaks - Just to move around and stretch. I've noticed when I'm engrossed in a webdesign, time flies, and it's a couple of hours before I've realized I haven't even stood up. I try to make it a point to stand up and walk around the house every hour.

I'm so sorry to read of your husbands condition and hope he continues to improve and gets home soon. This is scary that it was misdiagnosed the first time, you are fortunate to get the correct diagnosis.

Thank you everyone. It is now Dec 1st and he said he isn't feeling quite right. I told him to call the doctor tomorrow....that that would be better than another visit to the ER. He hasn't been released to go back to work yet. I'll keep you updated. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern. I truly appreciate it.

Best wishes to your husband and you. Maybe its time to change jobs even if he gets less $$$ . His life is much more valueble.:(

Julz, I just saw this post, though I read your PM. I am so sorry to hear that he is not feeling better by now!! I'll keep you both lifted up in prayer also.
I wish we were closer and I could do something for you or help with dogs!
