My brother has one and he kept the LONG tail and big floppy ears.. I dont know much about them.. but I think there cute with the big floppy ears :p

Holy crap! Those dogs just LOOK mean....hmmm...maybe it's the spiked collar...I don't know.

This is very interesting...aside from one, I have never seen a Pit w/ a long tail...I always just thought that was part of the standard....interesting.

I have never see a pit with ears like that! They look a little scarry, with there ears cut like that.

see that's what i'm use to seeing and that's what i thought was standard also for a pit bull hence the pit look.
i want a dog to look like well the breed it's supposed to look like . but there's no way i would buy a pup and have it done when they are older that's just mean and painful . that's why i'm wondering if most people do it or stopped or what.

pit bulls and the like aren't suppose to have their tails or ears docked. Breeders that do this want to give their dogs the 'mean' look just because it looks cool. The 'mean' looking coming from dogs that are forced to fight. owners cut the tails and ears off so the other dog can't get a hold of it. they don't care what the age of the dog, they'll do a little at home surgery with knives or rubber bands just to get the better fighting looking. its a horrible practice.

heres friends pit he has a tail ive never seen one without one i know the ears are supposed to get done

My best friend has a blue pit. She's awesome! Her name is Bella and her ears/tail are not docked. I've attached a picture of her for you to see.
