We're Home!!!
 

We're home!!! I'm so sorry I wasn't able to post this weekend!! Between spending time with Cali (who as I type this is sitting on my chest fast asleep), I've been suffering from JET LAG!! I was so exhausted!! I'm feeling a bit better today but still a little tired. :D

Kat picked me up at the airport -- we recognized each other instantly. So after we hugged and talked for a bit, Kat said sorry Jen but I had to leave Cali home -- you know, airport rules and all. So I said ok no problem, we'll see her when we get home. So we walked to the bathroom (I had to pee lol) and once we got in, Kat reached into her TINY Bottega bag (which was stunning) and took out CALI!!! :D I almost died!! I couldn't believe that Cali fit into that TINY bag!! She is SO MUCH SMALLER than I ever imagined!! I was afraid to hold her but Kat made me lololol :D I am totally not kidding, I was seriously afraid to even touch her but she's so beautiful that I couldn't resist. :D

So then we got my luggage and went home. We had a great time. Kat made an awesome dinner of tacos (but the RAW way which I am going to start eating because it was just amazing and delicious and so healthy). Then she made pineapple sorbet. Everything was amazing. Kat's home is BEAUTIFUL and her husband, Brian, is hilarious. They both made me feel so welcome. I had a GREAT time!! I wish I could have stayed longer but at least I'll see Kat when she comes to NY in April, yay!! :p

But now about Cali ... she's amazing. It was instant love at first sight. She was SO WELL BEHAVED on the plane -- but that's all Kat's doing because her 2 Yorkies, Paris and Pixie, are extremely well behaved too. They don't bark when the bell rings and they don't beg for food at the table. I was really impressed at how well behaved they are!! And Cali too!! Kat's done an amazing job with Cali. She isn't like the "typical" Chihuahua that people think of ... barky and nippy. She's extremely warm and friendly to EVERYONE. She's a major kissy fish and just an overall love bug. I couldn't be happier with her!! :D

Cali may be VERY tiny (tinier that any dog I've ever seen in my life -- and she's 6 months old) but she's extremely healthy. It's not like every breath she takes you worry and think it's her last. She's feisty and fresh and adorable!! :D Cali and Tia became friends instantly!! They've been playing NON STOP since we came home. Codie will sniff her and then walk away but that's typical Codie behavior. :p He's shy at first but will warm up in a few days and then they'll be inseperable.

Jim took a cute video clip of Tia and Cali playing the first night we came home. He even added music to it -- it's adorable. I'm trying to figure out how to post it!! If anyone knows how to post videos, can you send me the link or tell me how to do it?? :D :D

PS - Cali says HEWWO to all her YT friends!!!

Hooray!!!! I'm so glad you and Cali got home saftely:)

Oh that is way to cool I can't wait to see the video. I am glad Cali is finally home.

Welcome back!! I am so happy your trip was enjoyable and that you finally have your Cali baby home! Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing with us. We will all be anxiously awaiting pics and Cali-tales! ;)
