What are you thankful for? Since Thanksgiving is fast approaching, I thought it would be neat to see what everyone is thankful for in their lives. Happy Thankgiving & God Bless! I will start..... I am very greatful for my family, friends, my pets that bring so much love and joy to my life, my daughter who brightens my day w/ her beautiful face and her loving kindness to everyone, my husband for working so hard to support us and for being a wonderful husband and daddy....my parents for always thinking of others and for working so hard in their lives and never looking back....for my grandparents (all of them) for teaching us so much in our lives and for being that steady rock to lean on. For God for giving us a beautiful life, wonderful wonders to enjoy each day and providing for all of our needs and being there through it all. Am I also greatful for finding YT and all of the wonderful people here...who have helped w/ concerns, given ideas and overall, just a place to have fun. There is so much I am greatful and thankful for.....I could just keep going on..... |
The biggest thing I am thankful for is my family(of course this includes Mollie & Wyatt) and our friends. Since August of 05 it has been a really rough time, it makes you put things in perspective. We have had 5 deaths in our immediate family since that time. Thanksgiving will be hard for me this year. I also go to my grandparents my grandmother passed away in June 01 and my grandfather just this past May so, it's going to be rough. I really dread going. Anyway sorry to get so morbid. |

This is such a nice thread...I'm totally thankful my beautiful sons are healthy and that I still have my parents.....I'm thankful for the roof over my head...& I'm thankful that my husband, while very sick, isn't in constant pain....It's hard watching someone with such a serious illness.... but I know people go thru so much worse pain wise. :( and I'm SO SO Thankful I have my girls in my life...I can't put into words how much they've enhanced it and have been the reason to smile everyday...No matter how bad things get - a Kiss from a Yorkie can bring everything in perspective. |

For our jobs, home, and friends... For our health.... Of course, for the 2 cutest little Yorkies in the world... I know... we all have the cutest ones in the world :D . Also thankful for a God who is so merciful and caring, who watches over us and answers our prayers and gives us comfort when we need it. :thumbs up :thumbs up :thumbs up |
I'm thankful for about everything in my life. I don't take thing for granted. I know how ones life can change in a heartbeat. I am blessed. I have 6 healthy children all doing well. 8 healthy grandchildren. My family totals 66 with two on the way. That includes siblings nieces and nephews, grand neices and nephews, plus my own children and grands, and all the in-laws and out-laws. No one is in prison, addicted to drugs, handicapped or on welfare. What more could I ask for. |
I am thankful for the love of God and all of the blessings and miracles he has bestowed upon us. I'm thankful for the strength to raise my six children alone and the opportunity to watch them grow into wonderful adults. I'm thankful for my new husband and best friend. He has shown me what real love is all about. I'm thankful for my family and friends and last but not least of course, my two furbabies, Hank and Levi. |
Thankfulness I am thankful for my Lord and Savior. I am thankful for our church and church family. I am soooo thankful that we are going to be blessed with our first grandchild in about 4 weeks. That baby has already helped me hang onto a bit of my sanity with all that I have gone thru this year. If the Lord brings you to it, he will help you thru it. I sure couldn't do anything without his help. Blessings to all, Teri:animal-pa |
I am thankful for all the very very many blessings my family and I have received from our Lord. We have not done or accomplished anything on our own. Everything is made possible through the Lord Jesus. |

I know your daughter in law felt so very blessed to have you for her Mom, and with God providing you with the strength to care for her. I am so sorry for the loss of her, we are all on loan to one another and the time comes when God calls back his own, she is well now and in his loving care. Isn't it wonderful to be able to talk with the Lord, I find myself every day and even during the nights doing this. Jack asks me if he answers and I tell him he sure does. He tells me every time, " I am right here with you always." When I ask him to help me with tasks, boy does he know how to push :) HE and I get a lot done together. In summing up what I am grateful for to the question asked here on the post is, most of all I am thankful for God's GREAT LOVE for us all and to the day that I asked God to come into my life. I am nearing seventy years but he has been here for me all the way, through the good and the bad times, and through some of the bad times they were a Blessing cause it drew me closer to him and they made me appreciate the good times more than ever. I will do another post in this forum later today on one of the bad times in my life and what God accomplished from it. Patti and Baby Blessing (((((((hugs to you))))))))Sugar's Mom |
I am thankful that God kept me strong to be able to go forward after the loss of my husband, 19yrs ago. I am thankful for my wonderful children, grandchildren and family and friends. Of course let's not forget Buddy. Carol |
I am most thankful that my family (and extended families) continue to be in great health, a supporting, wonderful and loving husband, a perfect daughter and of course Tiger and Annika for bringing so much joy and happiness to our lives since we've become empty nesters. I am also very thankful to have found a wonderful forum and to the growing wonderful friends whom I possibly might not ever meet in person but have become quite close too . . . you are all very dear to my heart! |
