Well, I for one, am devastated by the outcome of the election!

Coming from a State that has been run by some sleezy politicians for the past 10 years I can't believe they re-elected ANYONE from the same party! Good God...we already have the highest tax rates in the NATION!!! Wonder why????

SLEEZY?? God, if you want a picture of Sleezy just go look at the president. He is such a cow and hopefully the Dem's will win the Presidential too! It seems like everyone is so worried about thier money, when we have much larger things to worry about. I AM SO HAPPY!:thumbup:

The President's tax breaks for the wealthy have cost us dearly in terms of the national debt (which, by the way, is largely owed to China). It is obscene to give tax breaks to the wealthy when we are at war. All Americans should've been asked to pay their share and not pass it on to our children.

I am incredibly happy!! Go Dems!

For the pres. in 2008 though, I am banking on McCain...he is a middle-of-the-aisle person that I think we need. In all honesty, I just want someone that can even put up a facade of intelligence! Image IS important when you are the president, and back-tracking on nearly everything you say is also nothing to be commended.

American needs moderates. Not crazy liberals, not crazy conservatives. MODERATES.

As for the republican government that we've had in so far, well...good riddance. Once they are sworn in, you will see a turnaround in this country very quickly. Bush wouldn't be so bad if he didn't have the majority party in the senate and congress to back him up on everything..with the democratic majority, expect them to do a lot of questioning and checking the president.

I am neither Democrat or Republican, I vote for whomever I feel stands for what I believe in. Too bad that either way they both end up letting us down and we bitch about it and want to vote the other party back in. It's a vicious cycle. I want to vote for Oprah. Too bad she is smart enough not to run.

Couldn't have said it better myself!!!!!!!

I, for one, am a Republican and a huge Bush fan. He is a good person. He is a Christian. Every single person on his cabinet is a Christian. He is only doing what he thinks is best for America. Yes, he has made mistakes, but so has EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT! There have been good and bad Presidents from BOTH parties, democrat and republican alike. Bush has done a fantastic job of defending our country against subsequent terrorist attacks. He inherited an economy that was in a BAD recession and then 9/11 came. Give him a break. :rolleyes: And don't believe everything you hear in the media.
